Welcome to Horrible To- I mean Halloween Town.
Happy Spooktober everyone, please enjoy my latest shitscore. :)

Track 3 of Shitscores, Vol. 1: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/magicmason1000/shitscore…

This shitscore was made using MuseScore 3 and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Some people asked if I could make the sheet music downloadable, so I've uploaded it to MuseScore. The sheet music is best viewed in MuseScore when in "Continuous View" mode (as that's how I viewed it while making this video). Also, sometimes MuseScore wants you to pay before downloading the score, which I can't control, so it makes you do that, you can use this Google Drive link to download it instead!

This is now on Spotify, YouTube Music, iTunes, and more! I get comments asking for my music on Spotify (no clue why they'd want to group this with actual music but you do you I guess) so I released a single with my first three shitscores to a bunch of streaming services. Shitscores, Vol. 1 You can find links to all the platforms it's on here: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/magicmason1000/shitscore… You can also use the music in Instagram and TikTok posts.

As someone who was a cellist in high school, this is literally just a professionally transcribed first rehearsal
  • TRUMPETS WANT THE MELODY NOW! 8 seconds later we’re angry because we don’t have the melody but we will play loud because we can
  • @rubyisms
"Trumpet is angry they don't get the melody anymore" As a former alto 1 & 2 in her high school choir, same.
  • OK so the YouTube algorithm gave me a fabulous playlist of Herman Beeftink's incredible flute arrangements, then threw this masterpiece in the middle of that playlist! Imagine my confusion slowly morphing into awe
  • @MeMyselfI__
I’ll pitch this to my band director and see if we can play this 😂
  • I don’t usually genuinely die from laughing much, but the angry trumpets part made me laugh so hard I think my lungs shriveled from the exhalations.
  • "Trumpet is angry they don't get the melody anymore" As someone who was in a school band that was 70% clarinets, this is accurate
  • @CrazyPyro516
The fact that it has timestamps really elevates it to a new level of shitpost and I don’t know if that’s a compliment or not but I’m pretty sure it is
  • Because there isn't any sheet music for This Is Halloween online, I had to actually transcribe and arrange the song by ear before I could then make this version. In the process of making something horrific, it first had to be wonderful
  • @larsnyman2455
I'm impressed that the whole ensemble managed to stay on-task
  • @iz_bizz2010
1: this is the most horrifyingly beautiful and hilarious thing i have ever seen 2: the jumpscare at the end felt like a lightning strike right next to my house
  • @oats679
Our marching band did this song and i cant describe how accurate this was during rehearsal. The woodwind section gets it so rough for this song LMAO
  • @nicestpancake
How did you perfectly capture the energy of a highschool band and still also make it listenable
  • @QwixLF
What I love about these is that it takes both genuine skill at sight reading and music theory to write these and real experience with how much exactly to feck it up to make it funny and still sound good to someone who barely understands sheet music. There's real love in this shit posting.
  • @TucaLoonOff.
I love how sometimes they remember “Oh yeah flutes exist” just like real bands!
  • @coyotix
To be honest, the random inclusion of Kidnap the Sandy Claws actually sounded really cool
  • @LunaTheMoonBean
As someone who played this song for orchestra class for our Halloween concert, i can confirm the first rehearsal sounded exactly like this minus the band instruments
