You forgot to mention money wise you can get Disney gift cards with set amounts of money on them that you can then give them to the kids so they can have fun and a set amount of money.
  • Great advice! For the dining plan, my family realized we eat but not that much so the quick service dining plan is perfect. In previous trips, we had the normal dining with table as well and it was too much food. If we ate a big breakfast we would sometimes have a snack and then small dinner. We did not use all the credits either. I remember getting tired of ordering dessert at meals, it was just a lot of food. I don't usually like that so. I suggest if you're interested in the dining plan, definitely research it before jumping on a plan.

Hi Victoria congratulations on reaching 1000+ subscribers. My favourite park is Epcot but in certain areas it's starting to look a bit dated and tired 😕 but I hear Disney are going to spruce it up at some point so I say bring back more pavilions. I loved Horizons.

This has been so much help for upcoming trip in June. Thank you!!!
  • You did an amazing and thorough job of covering the details of spending expenses. Well done! My family goes each year and are familiar with the costs, but friends who go for the first time are always shocked at how expensive it is. Thank you for breaking down the many additional costs people rarely know to include when budgeting.

Great advice thank you! I'm heading back to Orlando in May this year was there same time as you in April 2016. Currently watching through all your vlogs and loving them xx

This is great advice. Some items have changed already such as Minnie car service and everyone pays for parking. You might want to consider updating with a new video. Any other new expenses?
  • Your videos have been really helpful for our family when we travel to Orlando, so many thanks! I would like to add that you may have to check your insurance when taking cash so if your only covered for $500 cash and you take 2000 you may be a little stuck.

Hola, im Gerry from Campeche, México, as you say, its very difficult to answer this question but you gave a lot of great tips. I would visit Orlando by myself (first trip alone) at the end of November. Usually i pay the hotel with my credit card and i pay the food, park tickets, shopping etc... with cash. BUT, i always save 150 dollars for the airport, the charge for an extra bag it´s so expensive. Hope you have a great trip.
  • To save money on souvenirs try going to the Disney character warehouse in Orlando. It's close to Disney and they have alot of the same stuff you find in the parks however it is cheaper. Just a money saving tip

If you are only going to be in Disney world you can get Disney world gift cards from Disney and you can put certain amount on several gc for different things
  • @genayares244
Yes yes to allears.net and disunpluged which has the dis boards ....super super useful !! Give kids prepaid dis gift cards ( to bad the Disney dollars are no longer ) . Does Uk have Uber and Lyft ....cheaper than cabs if staying off property . If staying on property and have car you don’t pay the $20 per day for parking . Can buy gift cards at target and you get a percent back ....I think 5%. Taxes in the US differ for merch and food . Keep ones on you for tipping the bell hops , magical express and housekeeping .
  • I travel from Australia, spend 10 nights at WDW. I don't buy any souvenirs. My airfare from Sydney plus my 10 nights plus DDP is my one and only souvenir.
  • Hi Disney, many thanks for posting these videos, really helpful! We are taking our 4.5 year old daughter in June and it's our first time. Just wondered what driving is like as we are staying in devonport? Also we plan to take pack lunches and eat buffet breakfast outside the resort to help keep costs down, so we're plan for about 3000. My final question is, I would love for Isla to have dinner with the princesses, do you have any tips to book up. Many thanks!
