Again, you got me tickled about the squirrel and bird!! You are a hoot. Thanks for this edition.
  • I was glad to see Don Knotts because he is from my home town..Thanks

Michael Landon was a very good actor. You have done him proud with this video. Thank you for another great vid,
  • Seen old footage of Marilyn's funeral 60 years ago & this cemetery has certainly changed since then with add-ons & the skyscrapers in the background tho the chapel looks the same. That would have been a sad day when Marilyn died. Also on Peter Falk's grave, 'Just one more thing' should have been on his stone.
  • I met Theodore Bickel around 1998. He was performing in Fiddler On The Roof in San Francisco while I was performing in the cast of the Phantom of the Opera. My show ran 5 years during which time I met Betty Garrett and John Travolta. Betty Garrett's son was married to one of our cast members and John Travolta came to see our show because he was being considered for the role of the Phantom in the movie. His wife, Kelly Preston, was with him. You really found a plethora of famous gravesites. Good job!💕🙂
  • I grew up watching The Steve and Eydie Gorme' Show with my Dad he loved watching that show. Oh ! The memories. I sure miss those days. But you bring it all back. Now ! I wish I could go back. Now days, SUCK compared to the good ole days.
  • @CaliforniaFly
Bettie Page. My uncle had a calendar of her in his work shop back in the early 60's. I fell in love.
  • @tangie777uk

@ 19:35, when you asked "what if they get hit by an earthquake ".... what an incredibly serious and eerie thought!!
  • I didn’t realize the Brian Keith tragedy ...I completely bypassed that...I recall Anissa’s death, and Sebastian Cabot’s, But had no clue about the daughter and her daddy! Ty

Back in the early '90's, I read in a magazine, or something, where a woman drove out to Westwood Village Cemetery one day. After finding Marilyns grave, she said that she, "laid down along side her grave and said her name three times out loud ... Marilyn,,, Marilyn,,, Marilyn", at which time, the ground beneath her began to rumble and shake, as if Marilyn was responding to her name being said. Funny, because, Marilyn isn't even in the ground, but is in the wall of an outdoor, open mausoleum/crypt, on the 2nd tier from the bottom. She must've been laying on Burt Lancaster or Mel Torme and irritating them, by calling them Marilyn. We were out at Westwood back in 2002 or 2004, etc, and found the cemetery very quiet and empty, which surprised me; considering how many celebrities are buried there. Finding the cemetery was tough though, since it's surrounded by buildings.
  • @jamestakacs
Richard Basehart narrated a wonderful documentary on the Vietnam War. Vietnam: The Ten Thousand Day War. He did a excellent job
  • @robroiboi
Very informative; your video kept me spellbound. I especially appreciate how well you dealt with the subject of death, graves and cemeteries with respect and reverence. Thank you for giving all of these "special" people a fitting eulogy.
  • I’ve been on a Dragnet Binge Of late..learning that Jack Webb’s show began in the early 50s...I didn’t catch his name, but you named so many that I never knew thharr they had passed.
  • @patrickbeck3285
I enjoyed the video. My memory does include the talented Eydie Gorme of Blame it on the Bossa Nova fame a #1 hit of the 60s. She was the cousin of Neil Sedaka. The gentleman who asked if you were looking for it sounded like Davie Johnson may have meant actor David Janssen of the Fugitive. Just a guess.
  • My folks always got a kick out of my statement that Richard Basehart was handsome. My uncle never let me live it down
Thanks for showing it to us.Also loved Lorne Green. He had a hit with a spoken word record about Johnny Ringo. Anything with a Beatle name in it was bound to be a hit.
  • I was an extra yrs ago for Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and a couple films. Also Landon had a ranch not far from my place here in Chico.
  • The melody played while showing
M.Landon reminded me of the music from the movie "Charoits of the Gods" ... I'd heard he drank and smoked himself to death & ruled his film sets with a heavy heavy hand ...but it seems his family loved him...i certainly hope
    so..as a fan i always liked hm...
  • I love your history hunters channel and also like where the actors that I grew up with where there rested place is and you tell us about them and I might learn something that I didn't know Thanks for doing this and your history hunters channel
  • We visited Westwood Cemetery years ago. One of the workers told us they have to replace the front of Marilyn Monroe’s crypt at times as it is discolored from all the hands touching it. I left a dime in the crack of Dean Martin’s crypt. I wanted to see his more than any other’s. I really liked watching him on tv. I thought he was “swav” and a great partner with Jerry Lewis. He suffered greatly with the loss of his son, Dino, who died tragically when the jet he was flying crashed.
