Sorry that folks can’t just appreciate all your wonderful info and stop the corrections...love the conciseness and tips. Don’t waste your time with complaints...your time is too valuable 😊

Hey Brian, just wanted to say I watched your 2 videos (in the right order too) and really enjoyed them. I really liked that you made a part 2 answering questions and making corrections. Keep up the good work and look forward to watching your other videos.

I love the video. Very informative. Wish I would have watched it before I planted tomatoes. This year I'll just puts along. But next year I will start off the right way and follow your guidelines. Also subscribed so I can be more informed on other plantings. Love that you include the links to your products and have numerous videos on other vegetables. Please keep including container growing tips as I live in a condo and space is limited. Thanks again from someone just starting out.

Both videos are so helpful - you just saved my crop and all the hours and money I have already put into it.
  • Oh you dear dear man. Bless you for this video. I can only imagine some of the comments that made you feel the need to make this video. Bless your heart!
  • I will always call tomatoes a vegetable! I absolutely love your channel. I subscribed today. So happy I found you. I love the way you explain things!!!!!

Hey, Brian. Thank you for the great videos. I have been gardening without anyone ever showing me or teaching me for about 45 years. I have learned more from you in the past six months than ever before. You are a great teacher so keep up the great work!
  • Two different things I’ve been doing straw bale gardening for a few years now. It’s easier on my back. Results have been mixed with peppers and especially tomatoes and eggplants laugh at me just before they croak. I’m late planting this year and I’m looking forward to using your ideas. I’m determined to reform my sloppy watering sins!!!! I enjoy your use of credible research very much. Aspirin, prepare to dissolve..... Retired principal here: you’re a fine teacher.

I am so going to try your tomato trellis idea and when they start shipping those hooks I will buy them..Oh just started watching your show...LOVE IT
  • That is by far the best video on gardening I've ever watched. As a beginning Gardener who had massive, massive tomato plants this year, I so appreciate knowing what I did wrong. My tomatoes are indeterminate and literally took over an entire box. It's October 19th and they are still growing like crazy and I have hundreds of green tomatoes still ready to go. I am covering them up at night with a sheet even though we're not quite down to the frost level here in Northern California yet. Keep making videos because I learned so much in your video I saved it to watch it again and again.

It took me a few years to learn that you don't need to spray anything on tomatoes if you just hang a couple bird seed feeders nearby the birds will flock to the area and they will get rid of all caterpillars
  • Ok - absolutely love that you brought in Risk v Benefit!!!! Working in medicine, we have this discussion alllllll the time…
  • @salnenz
Thank you. Just started watching you and find your videos very helpful!
  • @richarddvll
loved the first video a suggestion that has worked for me is not quite as deep but sideways with the stem because they like the warmer soil but there is a trade off so I dig a sloping hole to get them deeper but leave them where they can get some heat but love the growning sting tips

Please don't EVER stop making your amazing videos! I go to you every time I have a question about my garden! I do an a question that I thought I would see if you can answer. I am growing butternut squash on a trellis and the male blossoms are so underdeveloped . . . I have an abundance of the female blossoms that I am losing because the male blossoms are just not growing. Please, if you have any suggestions or answers to help me to remedy this dilemma, I would appreciate it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
