Hey Mr Food theory, My little sister is allergic to eggs And she has always wanted to have cake. This has changes my world when I saw this and ran to the nearest safe way and got this cake mix. SHE LOVED IT!!! Thank you, and we make this together every weekend!

I like the implication that Portal is literally just the phrase "the cake is a lie", as if it wasn't a groundbreaking game with innovative mechanics.

I've actually seen the opposite advice, which is to add in an extra egg and also replace the oil with butter and water with milk. Makes for a much richer and dense cake. The trouble with the eggless cake is that it doesn't keep its shape and will fall apart when you try to move it and put icing on it, and you DEFINITELY wouldn't be able to stack it.

Me and my fiance watch all the theory channels. It helps me get through my depressed episodes. Thank you for making these videos. Without them I believe I would be in a worse place. And I do love that you and Stephanie do it together. Keep making more.

My mom made cakes by boxes only. I decided to make one from scratch. There is maybe a few minutes between scratch & box. Scratch is much better, and healthier. Awesome episode.

I love how Mat goes into the chemistry to find out if it’s possible and why. I would’ve just started baking and see what’s going to happen.

My fave lazy mufffin/cake recipe already just needs 2 ingredients (gingerbread cake boxed mix and pumpkin puree - not pie filling but pure puree). Makes quite a few moist and slightly dense "muffins", and is even better when you add some pumpkin spices. Definitely worth a try and fun for fall.

I made 2 cakes without eggs, no problem. 3rd cake when I actually needed cake, flatter than a tortilla
