I think Tammy's sugar crystals are actually Kohakuto, a type of traditional Japanese candy which is basically dried agar jelly. It is quite easy to make but the way she moulds and colours it gives it a new look, the products are so beautiful.

2:57 I'ts the wrong packet, its a whole diff candy
  • @fronzotto
I've made that stringy candy before! Japanese tongue candy or gummy tsureta. Emmymade used to make these kits all the time. You can probably get them at an Asian grocery store. I don't actually think Poppin Cookin has this particular one but it is owned by Kracie. The package is like plastic also I remember the taste was extremely mediocre and a little plastic too lol. Still fun!
  • @the_nitnat
Hey hope! That poppin cookin is a different version! The ones you bought you mix into different candy versions of food. The other kind is a mix that makes the candy from liquids. Same concept but a different candy
  • @TAMMYHH
Thank you Hope! So happy you enjoyed them ✨

Hi Hope! You bought the wrong brand of candy, it is supposed to be yummy nummies, and there is one called “Yummy Nummies Ribbon” and that is the correct one, so please try it out! I hope my suggestion was good!

Tammy's candy's were so beautiful like I can't get over it I bet they look even better in person!!!! She is extremely talented
  • For your future culinary endeavors, sugar dissolves very easily in water. Just soak the bowls with the sugar in water for like 10 minutes in hot water or like 30 minutes in cold water and the sugar will dissolve and you can clean it. I do this all the time when I make caramel.

If you ever get melted hard candy on dishes, just soak them in hot water until it starts dissolving.

I’m dying my hair purple inspired by your beautiful pink hair 😍

Girl you are really putting your life on the line for us eating food you bought off Etsy 😭 it even came in a ziplock baggie 😫
  • @GothToad
HOPE!! The Japanese one you need the gummy tsureta kit specifically for it to be how it is in the tiktok, the kits you got were totally different kits. Popin Cookin do all sorts of creative food related candy kits, you just needed a specific one for this.
  • The second candy that was Japanese brought back so many memories cause o use of love eating it as a kid basically the candy you had was not the one in the video but actually you use the powers and water to creating (honestly weird tasting) candy sort of things they tasted weird but they were really fun!! You could creat cakes, dango, waffles , ice cream and so on!
  • As a small business owner myself, I really appreciate how many small businesses and individuals you purchase from in your videos! I can’t wait to see more! ❤
  • For the poppin cooking one, you’re not supposed to just being out the candy string out of nowhere, it’s a kit where you make gummy food, and you’re supposed to stir it. It’s not meant to bring out random candy slime out of thin air.

The Lotus candy reminds me of those lotus candy in Percy Jackson 😂
