To Go off doesn't mean to renounce to our faith but to renounce to our own plans in order to accomplish the perfect will of God. Is to be willing to pay the price God wants us to pay to obey God. Paul renounce to the Sanhedrin in order to accomplish the will of God but because of that was hated by the Pharisees after that.

Nice coach and motivational speech. It would be really Holy if it was a Christ centered message, about the power of his Holy Spirit bear the fruit of meekness, gentleness and self-control in the saved ones. God bless this preacher and give him the understanding that Christian life is about what Jesus can do for us, not what we can do for ourselves.
