A lot of people seem to be unaware that there is such a thing as good cholesterol. There are good fats and bad, and our bodies need good fats to function. (similar principle of having a wooden spoon across the pot top). BUT after that, there is no need for oil in pasta. Tip: if you are making a tomato sauce with the pasta. keep 1 cup (16 oz.) of 'pasta' water after the pasta is cooked and before you drain the pasta and put that into the thick tomato sauce (just don't make it too watery or you'll be there forever waiting for it to boil down again).

To try to avoid developing kidney stones, you really need to drink lots of water, but not necessarily 8 glasses of water per day. Putting lemon or lime juices in the drinking water helps.

Hello from the Yellowstone blast zone! I live in Missoula, Montana, 280-ish miles from Yellowstone and 135-ish miles from Glacier National Park.

Mom used to get epileptic seizures. We werent worried about her swallowing her tongue, more that she might bite it off when her jaw would clench so thats why they put things in their mouth to bite down on. She often had swollen bruises on her tongue if we hadnt got the bar in her mouth fast enough. I have seen this first hand and it is horrifying.

the active ingredient in skunk spray is sulfuric acid. so to get rid of it, you should use a base like Sodium bicarbonate to neutralize it. Baking soda... rub in everywhere you got sprayed and if any got in your eyes, FLUSH, FLUSH, FLUSH.. tomato sauce doesn't work because most tomato sauces are acidic which does nothing to counteract the sulfuric acid...

I love these videos…Mike is a trip and I love crazy facts like this. I have learned a lot from these videos. From this one my favorite wrong fact is the one about dairy making your cold worse. I have gotten into so many arguments with my sister-in-law about this because she claims that she absolutely knows the truth and that milk is bad for you. I don’t care if I have a cold or I don’t have a cold if I want a big glass of milk, I’m having a big glass of milk. 🥛
