After nearly 70 years of discussions, Sweden and Denmark finally united literally with the Oresund Bridge, a gorgeous wonder that tunnels into the sea.

    Let's get some facts right:
0:48 you're showing us the Norwegian and Swedish flags not the Danish.
1:23 there are absolutely no icebergs anywhere near that area
1:26 no the water is not very deep (only 42m or 131ft deep)
1:30 it had nothing to do with 2ww...
3:45 Kastrup is neither man-made nor an island. it's a suburb on an island named Amager (which partly isn't man-made either)
4:05 again. no icebergs/ice flows... It's a tunnel to prevent the planes from the biggest airport in Scandinavia to crash into the bridge towers.
4:33 actually Sweden committed stronger security measures between Denmark and Sweden. not Denmark
5:25 no. not Denmark... still Norway... try again

According to my measures. You told us false information every 0,67 (or 0.67) minute in average
  • How hard Can it be to show the DANISH flag? Not the norwegian... dissapointed Dane over here🙄
  • @TedJohnson85
Everyone knows that the Danish and Swedish sound between the two countries is heavily infested with icebergs, ice-flows, ice-cream, and Norwegian flags!

    Danes: Our Road
Swedes: Yeah we built it good
    Norway: Our flag
    USA : Our researcher

This bridge is an absolute marvel. I’m a Canadian that has visited 3 times and each time I get excited to cross the passage, the last time driving a vehicle. To me this is the most extraordinary engineering feat that I can’t stop appreciating. Beautiful as with anything Scandinavian. 🇸🇪 🇩🇰

Edit: 1K Likes... Most ive ever had..
    Tak Dig!
  • My late husband and I did the ferry crossing Sweden-Denmark by car in the 80s. It would have been awesome, in particular for my husband who was an engineer, to use the Oresund bridge.
  • @Gajol1000
The bridge is amazing. I’m happy that we Swedes have such great neighbours around us and to which we are linked.

Plot twist: the channel is called Let Me Know and he purposely gets some facts wrong, so you let him know in the comments what he gets wrong
  • @cafejensen
me and my dad worked on this bridge together, good memories, rest his soul. thanks for sharing
  • Whenever Sweden and Denmark play a game, the scoreboard says SWE - DEN
and the remaining letters spell DEN - MARK

You can't fight poverty by just printing more
fiat into the circulation. If you mean well for the people, embrace a transparent financial system.

0:53 Wow never knew that a photo of Mormon missionaries in front of the Provo, Utah temple represented the Swedish and Danish governments so well
  • School girl: Sir you got the flags wrong.
Teacher: shut up let me teach.
  • @Ciric159
Wow, the amount of wrong “facts” pressented in this video, is amazing.
    Flag is wrong!
WW2 had nothing to do with it!
Kastrup is not an isle, it’s a city, on an isle.
The isle is called Amager, and it is not man made.
There is NEVER icebergs in Denmark, and the straight is actually not that deep.

I was always impressed with the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel. When I lived in Norfolk, VA, I would cross that heading into Delaware.
