SO.

This is called Hello, Apple. It's a guy who finds an apple. I wont tell you if there's some deeper meaning or what it is, but if you've got the time, I'd love to hear what you thought of it/how you interpreted it in like, a review. And its totally cool if you don't like it either because this sort of thing really is kind of weird, I'm using it to play around with the style without any serious consideration of little details.

A little while ago, I think it was last december, I put up a short called HANDS that I made, which involved some simple art using white, pink and black, that was pretty out there and weird and what not. I kind of like the style of this sort of thing because I can get it done quickly, and it doesn't draw out for long periods of time. So hopefully I'll keep doing these every once in a while :)

The goal of the Textbox series is to create a series of short, three color (white, pink, black) stories involving roughly drawn, yet attractive characters supported by relevant, drawn phrases, run at 14 frames per second, in a 550x360 pixel box, which end with turbulent, subtle story clues mixed into the finale of illegible glitch core.

That's the set of boundaries for them. I think I'll be able to do a lot with those guidelines so we'll have to see how it unfolds.

Its short! I think its like, yeah.. its 33 and a half seconds
470 frames at 14 per second
550x360
the colors are #00000 (black), #FFFFFF (white), and #FF0099, the pink.

I think that's about it. leave a response!
