Here's my entry for my pal @AngerRockz's dta! Congrats on 3 years on the website!! <3 Now Spirit, you know why I chose this one out of all the other lovely designs to try and win. :3c There's more to this description, but I think it's a bit too personal to put public on Scratch. ^^' Message me and I'll send it to you! It includes my motives and why I chose the music I did. (Because yes, there's a very special reason why I chose this music in particular.)
When drawing this, I looked up images of Dholes and paid close attention to the anatomy and the fur lengths. I also made the wings look a bit more insect-like to look more like a wasp's wings. The lighting choice was unintentional at first. Since it has such a dark color scheme, it was hard to see the lineart. I tried making the lineart mostly a bright green, and I think it really worked. Then I added lighting to make everything really pop. Though at that point it was a bit too light so I added a bit of shadow on the inside haha- Reason why the "face mask" marking looks a bit odd is because of the eyebrows oof- I tried to make the eyebrows a bit more angular.
Not entirely sure what kind of backstory this fellow will have though, I'm a bit clueless for the time being. I'll try to think of something and come back here. However, I know that I will probably end up drawing this fellow as I / if I ever reach the goal I have. (Mentioned in the private description.)
