I’ve ran a Holley super sniper 1250 with a rpm air gap dual plane manifold on my 347 sbf in N/A trim for a year no issues and another two years boosted. Also if anyone is concerned about the dual plane not working, just get a 1 inch carb spacer and problem solved

Like your channel, just subbed... So I have never messed with anything on an engine dyno but a carb. Getting ready to do a stock 454 BBC with a sniper with hyper spark. Stock 4 barrel intake. I have a buddy who knows his way around this system, he used to be lead calibrator at GM and then Chrysler in the Detroit area. He is telling me to be prepared to add plenum volume (spacer), I bet him a lunch that it will be fine as is.

I have never heard that it wouldnt work. I have heard that it makes a funny noise if you dont use a spacer... And also that it runs better if you put a spacer on it

Use a 1/2" or 1" spacer. Figured this out 5-6 years ago with a fast TBI on a poncho 455 with a performer rpm
