"Do you support Trump?", "Are you a Putin symphatizer?", "Are you racist?". The shallowness of corporate media journalists is unbearable.

    The interviewer's arrogance is astonishing.
  • @jozzieification
The interviewer isn’t asking questions, she is making statements. So annoying.

INSTEAD OF DUBBING, just put substitles. This is ridiculous

With due respect, but Amanpour was not acting like a journalist in this segment. Very odd, openly-biased, and hostile conduct.

I am trying to learn more about Le Pen. So far I haven't heard anything "extreme" from her.
  • Christiane is far too aggressive here. Sure she's done her time in the journo trenches but now she's Queen Bee, in her own mind. Her guest seemed polite, clear and self assured.

Remember when Amanrour, "interviewing" a former hostage to ISIS, dismissed him when he maintained that between beatings and beheading, he could see his guards reading the quran and prayed? And that the killings were done to please Allah. Amanpour kept interrupting him with, "but we know this has nothing to do with Islam", to which that guy replied on the lines of, "you can't put worlds in my mouth. You can't tell me what I saw and heard and what I have been through". Amanpour and CNN, and the whole MSM, is just EVIL!

I'm French, but I'm watching that in English 💀

Not sure why US politicians can’t put two sentences together like this one

Amanpour is a terribly biased interviewer. Her attitude is rude, confrontational and aggressive. Very unprofessional.

Bold move to keep the comments active
  • @JohannesHamman
When did journalism move from asking questions to making statements? And in particular false statements. And to what end?
  • @GeorgeTenev
Why is the journalist acting like a prosecutor? How is this acceptable?
  • @wendym.7814
Amanpour is a horrible journalist. Judgemental and manipulative.

Do you hire interviewer to ask questions to understand the interviewee or do you hire people to tell people how to think ?
  • Marine's last sentence is :"It is I who thank you for inviting me", which is a very french idiom so I hope you will get it.
