TRYING ON YESSTYLE WEDDING DRESSES / YESSTYLE WEDDING DRESS HAUL / EXPECTATION REALITY / YESSTYLE HAUL / TRYING ON CHEAP WEDDING DRESSES FROM YESSTYLE 2020 -

Today I’m trying on cheap wedding dresses from YesStyle! I have a lot of wedding dress haul videos coming out - the next one will be 8 different wedding dresses from AliExpress, in all different styles! In todays video, I picked out dresses that suited my own personal style - let me know what you think of them, and what your favourite wedding dress style is! I found these dresses to be fairly true to size, however I don't think it would hurt to size up slightly, because it's important to leave room for any alterations that may need to be made. I was given these wedding dresses for free by YesStyle, but this video is not sponsored. All opinions are my own, and i'd love to hear your opinions in the comment section! Please give us a thumbs up on this video if you'd like to see more wedding dress related content.

- NOTE - sorry guys!! I just realised I accidentally inserted the wrong image at 43:04! It was meant to be a photo I took but my editing program switched it out for a photo I show later on in the video T_T

I'm not getting married, I'm not even in a relationship, but boy howdy am I tempted to buy a wedding dress.
  • My cousin bought to YesStyle dresses. She loved the top of one and the bottom of the other. So she cut them in half and sewed the top and bottom she loved together. With the other fabric, she made the ring bearer pillow, the bridesmaids sashes, the petticoat for her dress and her own veil.

Would you consider doing a wedding dress video with Tiasha? I find that wedding dresses are unfortunately tricky for plus size women in general, so finding a plus size dress on a budget is even harder. Nice video 👌🏻

I worked for awhile at a bridal shop and the things their seamstress could do to dresses... Well, she was a magician. Those sleeves on the 400 dollar dress we actually did something like that there. She sew the extensions in the back and I embroidered the beads following the original pattern. The thing about those high-end dresses is that they come with a package of their beads and sometimes with extra trimmings and lace as well so shops can make alterations for the bride. I must admit that out of these dresses the two expensive ones would have been good cheap options at the shop. They got their dresses out of Paris and one of my jobs was to steam them straight out of the package. Some of them looked alot like the 400 dollar dress. Eh. Bridal mode, it is sort of a slow thing. But I really liked the 400 dollar dress it seemed to be the only one that was really well thought out. Something about the most expensive just looked really cheap to my eyes. Like the embroidery was sort of cold coloured but the skirt part seemed more warm toned. Or something. Hard to pinpoint. But the creamy dreamy feel of the third dress just looks to be of quality. Truth be told I’ve seen 2000 euro dresses that would pale in comparison. But maybe that is just my opinion.

My boyfriend's sister bought an aliexpress wedding dress for her wedding and had it tailored and altered, total cost was no more than £250 - which included a petticoat, embellished sash belt, alterations, veil, accessories... it looked great!

I live in the U.S.... it throws me off to hear you say "I got married in August" followed by "long sleeves were a must because it was a winter wedding". 😂

Nobody is gonna talk about how flawless tiasha is with short hair 😍
  • @Lpsuchtix3
"If anyone is taller than me this is to short" Me being 6'1 and not gonna marry any time soon Alright that's a no then.

With the third dress, that's just how off the shoulder wedding dresses are, they severely restrict your arm movements. I got married in a gorgeous off the shoulder gown and I could not do that photo where the bride holds her bouquet behind her husband shoulders. I just could not lift my arms that high. Granted I had more movement than you had, but you will never have full range movement with this style. You definitely sacrifice function for beauty with this design. It didn't bother me because I knew that was part and parcel of the style and it was worth the photos for me

Sorry, I just can't focus on the wedding dresses when your pink dress is just so flawless. You look like that princess from the movie Enchanted.

“im talking about wedding dresses and holding a bird turd” - alex, 2020 iconic
  • A good way to fix the too tight arm/off the shoulder dress is to cut the off the shoulder sleeves in the back and adding elastic behind it so it can stretch.

Is it ok that I found and bought my absolute dream fairytale wedding dress for £25 on ebay. Its second hand but doesnt have a single mark on it. It was originally very exspensive from a award winning designer wedding dress shop here in the uk. I guarentee theres not another one like it out there....... also i have no boyfriend or fiance and have no plans to mary anytime soon. But I couldnt not pass the dress of my dreams.

That’s such a similar dress story to mine haha. Except I full on thought my mom would cry and she did sigh and gasp in happiness when she saw my dress. Then I turn around to my normally stoic father bawling. That’s how I knew it was definitely the one.
  • I heard “winter wedding” and was like but you got married in August?? Then I realized I’m in America and she is not and that’s her winter and The earth is huge.

My dress was from David's Bridal. It was the first dress I tried on and I was so in love with it. Ten I looked at the dress and fell even more in love with it. It was only $500! Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE JJs house. I bought my veil from there. It was the same one that i tried on at David's bridal, but it was $25 at JJS house, $300 at David's bridal

Just a note for all potential brides. I got my dress from an outlet store! It had never been worn at a wedding just tried on in store and was definitely "Last seasons" but it was also reduced by NZ$3000!!! I got a stunning designer gown for NZ$995. I also got to try it on in store with an expert who was lovely :D I found it took away the stresses of online shopping for such an important item!

Those mom reflex’s though when Archie took a poo 💩 🤣😂
  • Can you and Sam diy some of these wedding dresses? Like revamp them and add your own details.

The fact that Alex acknowledges that there are so many people who can't afford a 3000$ dress (which in wedding dress money is not that much) makes me just love her even more. I'm so glad there are still some youtubers out there that still know how expensive life can be. Sending love Alex 💕
