We’d given electric motorcycles the silent treatment till now and thought we’d continue the theme here. The Zero FX is modern, all-electric, and heaps of fun but is it worth the money? Or the compromise? We find out in this elaborate ploy to hide the fact that SOMEONE misplaced Ryan’s microphone.

How the hell did you get me to watch a 10 minute silent film?!? Great work!
  • The most artistic motorcycle review ever conceived and produced by human beings

Chews on Hamburger -I ride a Zero because I care for the environment . Loads it on the back of his F 250

F9 Videos just put the competition to shame.

Someone give some raise to editor and videographer. This is hands down one of the best team to produce bike review on youtube.

I still love that the loudest part of this bike.... is Ryan walking up to it.

I bet Akrapovic really disliked this video

As much as I love this video (which is a lot) I really wanted to hear Ryan's thoughts in detail about this one. I got the jist and understood the basic points he was making, but I really wanted some nuance. How does he actually feel about it? How does it feel to ride? How is it for beginners and new riders? I noticed he did some offroad demos, how does it actually fare offroad and is it a decent option for short ADV/Dual Sport trips and adventures. It's a really great video, but I really wish it wasn't silent. I love Ryan's witty comments and Clarksonisms.

The cinematography is mind blowing for a Youtube channel. Smashed the LOVE button.
  • Fabulous video gents - the amount of work that must have taken.....huge respect. ......and a familiar clip in there too to up the quality even further ;0)
  • As a prospective electrical engineer a $250 Y connector is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If it were my bike I'd solder the wires together and spend the $1000 on hookers and blow.

Need more electric bike content the tech has come a long way in little time

Came her for the review, left with a whole lot more. Only F9 can capture my attention for 10 minutes straight without any words.

Best motorcycle channel on YouTube, or anywhere. By a large margin.
  • @therwfer
AHAHA I get it, because its silent! RIGHT?!

IMO, the killer app for electric motorcycles is what Gogoro of Taiwan has done - their batteries are easily removable and they have gas stations all over the island that have fully charged batteries. Range anxiety is totally eliminated since riders can pull up to any station, swap their batteries and be on their way. Even faster than a gas fillup.
