oh my GODDD i remember trying to become a moderator on a minecraft server I played on when I was like 10 and they asked for your age on the application and i deadass said "that's confidential, but mentally I'm about 12" as if that was supposed to be a good thing😭 the worst part was that they did hire a 13 year old mod so it wasnt entirely out of the realm of possibility

I definitely used to do that "pretending to be a mod" thing as a kid. I was on a horse/pony breeding forum game (not an MLP thing but I do happen to know the site got shut down a few years after I left because it was straight up stealing art from another similar site) where I got into all kinds of cringey mischief that I mostly look back on very fondly and affectionately. My personal favorite was that all the mods had these weird signatures where they'd say things like "my mod voice is dark blue and sparkly and reminds you of nighttime in a forest" or something along those lines. Weird edgy poetic stuff, all of the time. Anyways I once changed my signature to "my mod voice is nonexistent, because I am not a mod" as a joke, and I got banned for 24 hours for "impersonating a mod." It still makes me laugh to think back on.

at 13 i was DETERMINED to make my own vocaloid… downloaded an audio software, tried recording sounds, and even tried sketching out scenes for a music video for the first song…. and then i just stopped😂

things like this make me relieved that Google+ was shut down. now no one will ever truly known the depths of my 12 y/o cringe

We were all "cringy" kids once. I don't think it's cringe, it's just kids being kids. Something we should celebrate and support really. Celebrate our own past and support current kids just, being kids.

I used to “scam” people in AJ by friending them, bringing them to my house, then unfriending them and kicking them out? Like..feels like there should have been a step between those two things if it was supposed to be a scam but I was like “hehe I’m so naughty 😈” girl you were literally just waiting your own and other peoples time

An interaction I remember very fondly happened when I was posting on the Transformice forum when I was like 8. I saw many people having these little signatures with pictures and stuff, but I didn't really know how to do that, so I just wrote [Username] von Ice after every message I wrote. (I was a Frozen fan.) Then one day some random user got prissy about it for some reason and called my signature stupid, but then another user came and told him off with "this is a kid in a kid's game forum having fun, shut the fuck up".
