It’s extremely refreshing hearing someone finally talk about men and women being different and separate from eachother. I’m not trying to get political but it truly is. As a women, it’s been so hard to find videos or anything online just for US. I absolutely love this video and this content. I’m 29 and struggling with endo as well and it’s awful. Thank you for the information 💕😊

I found that, as a woman over 35, strenuous workouts were actually wrecking havoc on my body. I started to focus on shorter workouts focused on strength training and pilates, lost weight, and my immunity improved.

As a 51yr old woman who is STILL having a menstrual cycle this video is such a great reminder of how I can do some things to help myself when my body is having a hard time. I’m a night shift nurse too and it’s hard to get the rest I need. I eat healthy and go outside for at least an hour walk daily. I live in a climate similar to you, but I’m on the other coast. Being outside I find is some of the best medicine. Congratulations on your 3rd baby ❤❤❤
  • Yessss! I had a very similar experience and now 8 years later I’m pregnant with my 4th after being told I may never have babies.

How interesting: what people advertise (usually better for men) is not always good for women, I would be interested to see you speak more on this- everyday things that women should not follow (because they are for men) Thank you Madi, always!!🤗
  • I wish I had known all this when I was young. 64 now, and have struggled all my life with my body in one way or another, especially with my cycle. I was a little crazy with PMS, had painful periods, was infertile because of adhesions from various surgeries, had an early menopause and yeah... loads of fun. I wanted something better, something more, something other, my whole life. Maybe it was just this - slow down and listen. I do think we are living in a better way now than when I was your age - so much more information and access to it. Thanks Madisun, for doing what you do, from Brisbane Australia.

I don't know if this helps but I set up a cycle center in my house, for my monthly cycle. I have a comfy spot in my house- blankets, pillows, heating pad, Gilmore Girl re runs, I get quiet during those days. I try not to schedule too much during that time. I sleep as much as I can and take slow, quiet walks. I also have a table with my art projects, books, I set up Pinterest boards to scroll through and just relax me. I also do not apologize for feeling like garbage or not wanting to deal with people or things around me.
  • I am so thankful that you posted this video today of all days. I am beginning to think that all of my health issues could be drastically improved by relaxing and finding ways to decompress. Prayer is my number one way to do that and to lean on Christ. You really struck a nerve when you mentioned about trying to eat/take supplements to fix a health problem. I think it starts with decompressing.

Hi Madi, thanks for all you do. Question ❓ I love your content. This comment is absolutely not about you, but reflects my upbringing. Im a woman, yet I feel like it's wrong to consider myself in such depth like you spoke about. No one ever talked to me about these things. I always tried to appear strong, tough... My dad was constantly lecturing me on what was wrong with my body, and I acted tough in public so that people wouldn't just see what a failure I (thought I) was. I'm opening my ears to what youre saying here, but only because everything else you teach is spot on resonates for me. This comment is full of grammar problems but if I think twice, I'll delete it.
  • Just found Madi☀️ and omg. I have never found a YouTuber who has spoken directly to my mind | body | soul like this. Exact same wavelength. Okay, anyways… now to watch the video ❤ from a fellow homeschooling mum / slow living mum / pregnant mum / / chicken mum / mindful human <3

Oh Madi! i saw this video yesterday but i HAD to come back and leave my comment hehe, this is one of my favorite video's of yours... God... was amazing, practical, lovely, passionate and loving to the other women out there, I'm just so grateful for it. Im almost 34 and im now understanding who i am as a woman... like you said not a smaller and less hairy man... i just wanna heal and im just so grateful to hear all the stuff you said... i could write a lot more, but i dont wanna be "too much" hehe, just a great thank u! i just had ordered the book you mentioned and start to re- learned everything about us as women. Thank u Madi God bless u and your family :virtualhug:

Really resonated with this video! I've been on a "gut healing" journey for a few years and tried aaaalll of the diets out there, and nothing helped long-term, and in the end I just felt like through restrictions I have just made everything worse. I recently have tried changing my approach to food with a lot of the mindset that you share in this video, and it is actually really helping.
  • The beautiful feminine energy emanating from this video is very healing and made me feel emotional! It’s taken me so long to heal my body and heart and get to a place where I realize how joyful and magnificent it is to be a woman. I was diagnosed with endo last year and have been working through a lot. Thank you for the great tips! 💕
  • @AM-bm2xw
Dangit Madi, you've finally convinced me to read a book about my cycle! 😅
  • First off, you look gorgeous!! Secondly you must watch about as much Huberman as me haha. Love him, love his podcast guests. And all of your speaking points are so very valid. I'm 42 this year, just had my second baby in November. It wasn't until my late 30s that I got into tracking my hormone cycle (menstruation, follicular, ovulation and luteal) that I truly started feeling empowered about my body.
  • @rikki7953
I had been looking for a video on your channel about this!!! So glad you made this
  • @elizabethp17
Love this video so much! Thank you for all the useful advice ❤

It's wonderful to hear that this worked for you, congratulations and it's so kind of you to share your journey with others. For me, I was able to get pregnant despite PCOS by working with a fertility clinic for a year. My doctor helped me to bring on periods, track follicle development, and prescribed me medication to bring on ovulation. The doctors and nurses at our clinic are angels <3 I consider my ability to get this excellent medical care to be a privilege that I know many do not have access to or cannot afford, so I definitely think embracing healthier lifestyle and learning about your body's natural balance/hormones can be a powerful tool.
