Timber Framed Barn Part 27 Braces And Roof Sheets

Publicado 2024-07-26
for the last few weeks I have been getting the roof sheets up with the help of a rented telehandler. It's almost done now, just the dormers and some details left to do. unfortunately my sd card corrupted and I lost the footage of installing the valleys but I did my best to explain how they work. Enjoy.

I click on Kris's videos as soon as they appear in my feed. An easy first choice every time. My heart is so in this barn build. But, what I really want to say is ... 0:39 what a lovely shot of the land. The workshops, the solar panels, the barn, the greenhouse the gate ... it's a feast for my eyes and I only watched it being built on youtube. What a feeling it must be to walk among those things built by one's own hands. I look forward to many more years of vicarious joy!

I really enjoy his videos. He's genuine. Doesn't hide his mistakes, no artificial drama. Just a normal, down to earth craftsman of the highest skill levels and desire to learn new things. Keep up the good work! Also, glad to see you not becoming a slave to the YouTube algorithms!

  • To think of how you started with so few tools. It has been fabulous watching your skills and everything around you grow. Much love to you both. 🎉

These videos are so very interesting too me. Kris, has displayed a determination to build a homestead that will be off grid, large enough to supply him with all the comforts of living in a city enviorment totally off-grid. I have been watching him for several years, and have found he is very knowledgeable in all phases of renewable energy, building, growing crops, raising animals for consumption, etc.. Although his videos come with large spaces of time between, I completely enjoy all projects he approches. Great content, and knowledge anyone can utilize for themselves. Be Safe, and God Bless!
