  • Oh sweetheart! The loss of a beloved pet is heartbreaking. I am so sorry.
  • @IanFabry
No dog has ever been loved more by two people. So many condolences.
  • Our very wise Queen Elizabeth said "Grief is the price we pay for love" and with dogs that is a special kind of love. That little dog gave and received so much love that there can be no regrets that he came into your lives. Indeed he gave all of us such fun and laughter, we will all miss him too. Hold each other close Philip and Stephanie and perhaps in time you will feel able to give your love to another dog. They will never replace Lancelot but your heart will find a new place for them.

Loving and being loved by a pet is one of the greatest gifts of life! My heart breaks for you all 💔🌈
  • There is a lovely quote from Winnie the Pooh - "how lucky are we to have had something that makes saying goodbye so hard". I think of this often when I thiink of my beloved sister whom I lost in 2017. So very sad for all of you.
  • Anyone who has lost a pet understands the absolute fear when our babies get sick. Stephanie, thank you for being brave and putting this on here. It must be healing for you.
  • I am heartbroken! 💔🙏🏻😞 I believe All dogs go to Heaven! After one of our beloved labs died, I cried out in anguish, “Why can’t they live longer Lord!” My then eight year old daughter heard me and came over throwing her arms around me and said, “Mommy, maybe they don’t live longer so we can love more of them! God needed her in Heaven and will send us another one to love!” Sure enough He did, and we loved her for 10 years and now yet another one for 8 years so far. I like to think all of our pups are playing together in Heaven, and we will get to throw a great many balls and receive a great many licks when we get there. Hugs to all the La Landers and to all of us who loved Lancelot too! He will be missed, but we will see him when we get there. 💙🙏🏻😇

So devastating. Tears flowing here for that sweet little dog with the biggest personality loved by so many. 💞

Those of us who have lost a beloved pet understand your pain. No words are enough. Sending love to you all.
  • Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love. They depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog. It merely expands the heart. I am very sorry.
  • My heart goes out to you. Lancelot was such a beautiful character. His joy of life was due to the fact that he knew how much he was loved.
  • Stephanie, I stood in the waiting room of a vet's tonight and learned my beloved cat had to be let go. I turned on my phone and saw this about Lancelot. My heart is with you in shared grief. It's worth every minute and it's a brave bargain we make with them that they aren't here with us very long. But they expand our hearts and our worlds and are truly with us forever.

My heart breaks for you. Losing a young dog is so hard. You gave him a great life. Lancelot is in heaven with your father.

The loss of a pet is always difficult but to have this happen so suddenly is tragic. So sorry for your loss. ❤
  • @pamshifra
I'm so sorry for your loss. Lancelot was the sweetest, kindest dog. He had such a wonderful life with you, Philip and all the Lalanders. As they say in the Jewish tradition, " May his memory be a blessing."
  • @chiapagringa
A tiny dog with a bigger than life spirit. RIP, Lancelot!❤
  • Oh my God! I am shocked. For a little dog with so much energy and love, he has captured all of our hearts everywhere. He will not be forgotten. His energy will always be with you. He loved you all so much. We, as pet owners, know how that loss feels. We lost our dog xmas day on her nightly walk. She was 11 and passed away a sudden massive heart attack. I was devastated, but my hubby pushed, and we got another dog. She is a boxer and is a therapy dog. She is a rescue like all of the other animals we had. We love her so much. We never forget the unconditional love they gave us. If I were close to you both, I would give you big gentle bear hugs and lul you both to sleep. 😢 RIP Sir Lancelot.we love you.❤❤❤

I am so sorry! This is one of the saddest videos I've ever watched. He was such a sweet little thing. It was always so cute the way he would stop and look back to make sure you were still behind him
  • I'm so very sorry for the loss of your sweet little dog. It's very shocking to lose a pet so quickly and unexpectedly. But even though his life was short, I don't think he could have been happier or been more loved by you and Phillip and everyone who knew him ❤
