Repurposing Time to Accelerate Success - The Called Podcast w/ Touré Roberts

Published 2024-01-29
When we deem something as valuable, we tend to treasure it and handle it with care. We are intentional about protecting it at all costs to ensure we are utilizing it to its full potential. But there is one currency we all have access to that is often misused and given away with no regard. That resource is none other than time.

Time is the one natural resource that constantly moves. Once it's gone, there’s nothing we can do to get it back. There are some practical tips I want to share with you that will help you to see time differently. Making incremental adjustments to how you spend your time can change the trajectory of your life. Because when we become aware of how we manage and budget our time, we can repurpose it to accelerate success in every area of our lives.

As we become more mindful about how we spend one of our most valuable resources, I want you to consider spending time at The Called Conference on May 17th and 18th in Los Angeles. We will gather together to be empowered, inspired, and activated into all God has CALLED us to do. Registration is open now!

Family, I love you! Continue to connect with me, and let me know if this episode blessed you. Don’t forget to share, rate, and review today. Subscribe now to never miss an episode, and remember, you’re not random - you’re CALLED! Learn more at calledleaders.com

This message for me is truly timely. Lately, there are ways that I have recognized that I have not been managing my time wisely but I had not come to conviction about. This episode has help me gain conviction to repent in those ways. Thank you, Mr. Roberts. Thank You, God, for time and I promise to respect it. Amen.

Amen I love this conversation. After years of Ministry burnout I learned how to manage my time more effectively. Unfortunately, my health was impacted by Breast Cancer because of the stress. I learned in Seminary not in the church time management is essential. Thank you 🙏 and keep the conversation going.

There are apps that let you block apps, websites and jey words to manage your time. I limited my Instagram usage to 5-7pm (bus commute time) and only 3 openings during that time. To deal with shopping addiction, I blocked shopping apps and sites I visited to certain hours on the weekends. Usually, I am busy during that time. When I surrendered to God last Spring and prayed for discipline, time management was my first task.
  • Hello my friend, I heard T. D. Jakes talking about Peter ,only had one net , and it was so much fish, that he had to call for partnerships, we trying to birth our dreams and visions, two things will , it will please the Father, and we will reap the harvest, thank you ,Amen.
