Hey! I also got CI at the age of 3 and I totally can relate to you in many levels. At some point, I've been emotional watching your videos... For a while, I tried to ignore all of these struggles I've experienced and pretend that everything is fine. One thing I would like to add is emotional detachment. I'm still socially inept and I'm 21. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm still afraid of dating and friendships. I always avoided guy or girl who got interested in me by telling them that I'm aromantic-asexual (which is a lie). It's just that I don't like the idea of being a burden. There were a few good connections I had in the past and on the internet. I had to cut them out of my life. It's really scary to be friends with them because I know they'll be bored of me due to my hard hearing. Thanks for these videos that gave me insights and made me felt understood.
