George was my fav fab. His looks, his personality and humor.
  • @trinaq
George was definitely my favourite Beatle. He seemed quiet and unassuming, yet he was a legendary guitarist and songwriter.

How can you include 'All Things Must Pass' on a list of '10 Songs you didn't know where written by George Harrison'? It's one of the most famous George Harrison songs ever - OF COURSE we know George Harrison wrote it!

George, my favorite Beatle. He was a brilliant songwriter. R.I.P. George 🙏🏼

George was an amazing songwriter who was only able to shine thoroughly after he had left the Beatles.

Clapton’s version of George Harrison’s “That Kind of Woman” is on an artists’ charitable compilation album, “Nobody’s Child - Romanian Angel Appeal,” released in July, 1990. Great song, great version.
  • That Alvin Lee and Mylon LeFevre album is an overlooked gem. It’s got a tone of famous musicians on it, like George Harrison himself (credited as Hari Georgeson), Steve Winwood, Ron Wood, Jim Capaldi, Mick Fleetwood, and Ian Wallace and Boz Burrell (who had been in the previous- at the time- lineup of King Crimson. Boz went on to join Bad Company shortly after that), and it’s just a great-sounding album altogether.

I can’t believe you picked You and Me (Babe) over Photograph by Ringo Starr. Photograph was a major hit in 73 and Ringo’s first number one song.

Wow, thanks for this, I am sure I am not alone in not realising that George wrote these songs, I recall hearing the "Mysteryoso" name years ago, in regards to music though. Many thanks for this and some great film of George here too. RIP George.

The greatest song ever written by George is one of the greatest of all time, It Don't Come Easy by Ringo.

"All Things Must Pass" was released on George Harrison's 1970 Album "All things must pass"...

Badge for Cream and Photograph for Ringo were excellent. Some of the one included here were pretty ordinary, but that may just have been the interpretation. What Paul and John wrote for others would be very interesting, so many of them.
  • I'm listening to Harrison's 'All Things Must Pass' album for the first time. Good God - this is superb stuff! My Sweet Lord is a classic and Harrison was hiding his composer talent under a bush in his Beatle days.

When it first came out, I didn’t know that George co-wrote Badge with Clapton. Great song.
  • @csteelecrs
George produced and co-wrote Ringo's "It Don't Come Easy" although only Ringo is credited.
