Nice ride/setup there.👍 I am keeping an out for an electric assist version (e-bike) but they are pricey with the weakening exchange. Even traditional (typical CT exclusive brand) bikes have increased considerably due to inflation. Bikes are suitable for year-round use in southern China's subtropical climate unlike where I am can be dangerous to share road with reckless drivers. Also, the vibrant atmosphere in a City of 15+ million inhabitants, countless amenities with pristine parks/trails catered to public needs influence an active lifestyle.

you should electrify this thing and put a mid drive hub on. hella fun!
  • I used to have that kind of fenders for my bike. But I did encountered problems riding on wet roads with speed above 10kph. The water from the wheels flows back to my face because of the wind. I bought another fender (looks similar to utility bikes) and it solved the problem. It looks weird on a mountain bike but it does help when using the bike going to work. I ordered another pair for my Merida 26" e-converted bike that came from China and is expected to arrive later this week.

Cool looking bike you got there ✌️😃 except that "sports" seat.. i would replace it in a heart beat. Oh consider upgrade a "suspension" seat post. It's super comfy replacing the seat or not.

After you ride it for a day or two, you’ll probably never go back. The thing I hate the most about the public bikes is that the basket doesn’t turn and I can’t see where the front wheel is pointing.
