Solo Mum’s Stunning Ultra Spacious Tiny Home ❤️

Published 2023-09-15
Kirsty is a solo mum who has built an amazing tiny home for her and her young daughter. The home is beautifully designed, spacious and filled with everything the pair need. A truly cozy and creative family home.

Situated in the middle of an abundant orchard there’s plenty of space for the young one to play, forage and enjoy a wonderfully wild childhood.

The home is on a large property with several other young families that have come together to form a wonderful community. Here, they sometimes share meals and spend time together while the children play.

We hope you enjoy the tour of this magical little home. You can find out more about Kirsty and her tiny house journey on Instagram: www.instagram.com/kirsty.shorten/ and via her website: www.kirstyshorten.com/

Kirsty has created such a wonderful home for her and her daughter! Just as much as the home itself, I love the community she has built around herself. We hope you enjoy the tour of this beautiful tiny house! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel. With love, Bryce & Rasa

I love how she did her bedroom so she can stand up all the way and all of the storage spaces throughout the house. Its simple in design but so efficient, one of my favorites so far.

There aren't many tiny homes that make it into my favourites folder but this is one of them. When you walk in and see those stairs and the beautiful blonde wood it just looks incredible and so spacious, love it.

This is my favourite house for a small family. I love every single thing about it especially how the staircase makes it super safe for her daughter to run up and down without the scare of falling. I love how the house opens up to that as well and not the lounge💜 Well done!
  • Wouldn't it be awesome if more farmers open up spaces on their farms for people with tiny home to rent. Spaces where it is more difficult to farm or along the borders

This house is beautiful and so well designed for their purpose! And I love how they have managed to live in the country but have a community of people around them to share their lives with.

At the beginning I'm thinking, "The only thing missing for me would be an outdoor spa." Imagine my surprise when Kirsty said the next thing to do was to "pop in a spa pool!" This is one of my top 3 tiny homes and settings for sure!

What a lovely home Kirsty has built for herself and her precious daughter. Those fruit trees in the front yard are so beautiful. What a fantastic spot the home is parked on. Wishing them both Love & Happiness in their beautiful home. 🧡

It's amazing how much more you can do with a tiny home that is just 2 feet (or 1 1/2 feet) wider than the norm. Like that U-shaped lounge and the more spacious bedroom lofts. Just stunning! Great house - beautiful location - gorgeous family. What's better than that? 🙂
  • What a sleek interior in this home. Beautiful simplicity. Thank you Bryce, Rasa and Kirsty for sharing.

You know, Bryce, many of the people you interview talk about how long they have been watching your YouTube videos. It seems that you have played a part in so many of your viewers starting on their own tiny house living adventures. It must make you feel so good to be the pebble tossed into that pond. (The reference is to throwing a stone in a pond and watching the ripples moving away from it - in case anyone did not have that image). 😊

Phenomenal home! Love the black stain on the exterior! The plywood in the kitchen, the bathroom, the window frames, the staircase, and more. I can't get over the plywood base cabinets and countertops and how they contrast with the black faucet! Thank you for more content Bryce and Rasa. 🙏 ❤😊

The extra 2’ wide really makes a big difference. What a great home!!

The symmetry of the stairs and window is lovely. To stand up in bedroom is smart and also getting onto bed. More Australian councils need to get on board with small scale community living like this, to help ease the housing crisis.

Kirsty has applied so many wonderful tiny home ideas and her esthetic is calming, comfortable and just plain gorgeous!! Good job!!

No television is the best decision ever. I haven't had one for over 10 years.
  • @sararivkah1613
I love thatshecreated two separate bedrooms that are walled off for privacy. She created a gorgeous home for her and her daughter.
  • Man i just cant miss seeing your episodes within the 1st hour of you uploading it...lots of love to bryce and rysaa❤
  • I love how she’s created a great little community of like minded friends and individuals, living in a tiny house truly is a lifestyle and calling, that creates a sense of ease and happiness to her and her daughter. Well done Kirsty, something I’m striving for in my future
