This Tiny House Is A Design Masterclass!

Published 2023-07-07
Now here is a tiny house with some revolutionary design! Rebecca is a designer who has poured tremendous effort into creating the perfect tiny home for both her and her son.

This tiny house is packed full of ultra clever design ideas, which have resulted in this being one of the most functional and spacious homes that we have ever featured on the show.

There's plenty of room for her son as well, who has what could easily be one of the most incredible tiny house kids rooms on the planet, while upstairs Rebecca has crafted a dream small home office for her design work.

Clever design tricks make this home feel twice its size. It really is a masterclass in good design. We hope you enjoy watching the full tour of this enchanting home.

Rebecca has developed a modular and transportable deck system which is specially designed for tiny homes. You can find out more about that here: readydecksystems.co.nz/

The design of this tiny house is incredibly impressive and I need to give a huge shoutout to Rasa for filming this episode so well! All the mirrors in this space make the home feel easily twice its size, but also makes it exceptionally difficult to film. Let us know if you spot Rasa in any of the shots! 😆 We hope you enjoy the tour of this amazing tiny house. With Love, Bryce & Rasa

This is one of the best tiny homes I have ever seen. I’m getting a little tired of seeing children stuck in cramped spaces or tucked into a hole in the wall and their parents have huge bedrooms. This lady really designed it with her child’s needs in mind and treated him as an equal. I love the kitchen design with the half counter too.

This woman was a GENIUS when designing her home. This is incredibly beautiful and beyond functional.

This is a very very talented woman. She should try her hand at designing tiny houses. Her extremely balanced approach between aesthetics and functionality whilst maintaining a tight grip on budget is actually beyond most architects I know. This is by far the best tiny home I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

I have no idea why, but I found myself deeply moved by what Rebecca has done. Honestly I had tears in my eyes by the end. I think it was that she was able to 'pivot herself sideways' out of a dark situation. As a woman this meant a lot. She shifted herself and her son into a new, more in tune with her and her sons life. She worked hard at opening a new door that has benefited her family. Her home is beautifully designed n crafted, it's very personal and functional. Even her modular deck is awesome. I wish her success with her modual deck. From watching your videos I know that having a deck on a tiny home can make the space more versatile, bigger and comfortable. Being modular is a great concept.

This has to be my favourite tiny house so far. I absolutely love it ❤

This is probably the first tiny home plan I could actually consider living in. I absolutely love it! She has an incredible gift for design and functionality.

I pray that this woman’s wounds heal over time, God bless her, & her son. 🙏🏿

I think this is the best tiny house design I have ever seen. Well done Mama! As a fellow single parent of a toddler I really feel proud for you. You're doing SUCH a great job.

Love love love this home. She is creative but knows how to use space incredibly well.
  • This home looks way, way bigger on the inside than outside. This lady has made incredible use of space. To add, I get a feeling of such calmness with her color choices, the lights. The design of her son's bedroom is phenomenal! And I LOVE her bedroom and office areas! Is there any home in NZ that doesn't have such fantastic views? I think we need to move that island closer to the US. lol She is one smart cookie and could easily be a designer for tiny homes!

I love when people build the lofts that you can stand in, and the fact that she didn't have to compromise her son's room makes it even better. Amazing home and great design 😍
  • Finally a woman who clearly understands that young children need more than a cupboard. Fantastic.

It takes a lot of strength to hit rock bottom and make such a spectacular comeback. She's hero material. Cudos to her. That said, most beautiful tiny home I've ever seen. Can't wrap my head around how utterly perfect it is.

At this point I probably watched hundreds of tiny home videos. Her home is my top five lists. Just impeccably designed and super thoughtful.

‘I designed men out of my space.” YES, QUEEN. I don’t have a tiny but my small apartment is VERY similar to hers — it’s all white and pink and designed perfectly for my needs and taste. It’s just so empowering to make a space entirely your own. Easily my favorite tiny house on this channel, I’m just blown away ❤

that shot with her and her boy on the sofa... the way she looks at him is sooooo sweet.

As a fellow self employed single mum, I’m planning my own tiny house at the moment - definitely some takeaways here!

This house is absolutely fabulous, this woman should design tiny homes for a living. The space, the decor, the kitchen, bedroom and an office, it is amazing!!!

This one brought me to tears. Homelessness is a growing problem in Canada, too. Rents are sky high and needless to say, home ownership is out of reach for most. I am so happy you landed on your feet Rebecca and is such an incredibly beautiful space. This is proof that tiny homes are changing lives for the better. Wishing you all good things in the future. Cheers from Canada.
