I live there. We have been on an evecuation warning for 3 days (we still are) but the water-carrying CalFire helicopters saved our house. We are so grateful and praying for those still in danger.

You'd think now is the time for California to start cutting the wild grasses like they use to do, but no, those programs were de-funded 30 years ago. It's much more profitable to pass the firefighting costs to the Federal government by declaring a 'State of Emergency'.
