It's Time to ASK FOR HELP - Renovating Our Stone House in Portugal

We failed to get the stone house renovated in time for our first guest, Johns mum, but, not ones to be easily defeated we made another pretty epic plan, and ended up with a beautiful space for her to stay in. We also had a visit from our local planning authorities which could dictate our future, and after some health concerns we take some off and get some help in to lessen the load.

There is nothing so sweet as spending Sunday morning with the Newby clan. The perfect weather you are having, all the forward progress on the house and the abundance of plants working to take it all back to nature. The washstand is just right for the tiny house. I feel like the not-garage is a magical place with a personality all its own. It just keeps giving amazing artifacts that call up the history of the farm. Have a wonderful week.

The small cottage where John's mum is staying is just adorable! And the little antique wash basin that Tara cleaned up is so cute! How lovely that the sun is shining for your guest! Your yard is so very beautiful! You could video a half hour walk through it and I’d play it over and over again for my relaxation time! So lovely! And the Plum tree is gorgeous.
