I loved this movie. I saw it in theaters. It was the first movie I had seen alone in 31 years because I had lost my wife that year. I hadn't seen a movie alone since I was a teen. We both loved the original and we knew about this one to come. But she didn't make....didn't get to go with me to see it. But I went. I saw it. I forced myself to go because we had talked about it so much. I wasn't going to miss it. And it was great. Thanks Tom .

That aircraft is still as beautiful as anything around. 30 years, Navy squadrons, mostly A-7s, FA-18 A-D and finished with Super Hornets. But the F-14 was always my favorite. What most people don't realize was the massive size of the aircraft, especially as a carrier-based aircraft. I even loved the authentic detail of the air start. My heart is glad they included this Grumman Cat this into the film.

This was my favorite movie in the last 5 years, the high budget and attention to detail and just sheer entertainment is unmatched.

For me; this was the greatest scene in the whole movie. If you were a kid of the 80's and you remember this plane and the first film then maybe you feel the same. The silhouette of the F-14 in the hangar gave me goosebumps and, for a brief moment, this old guy was 15 again. It's why I love movies...

The disbelief in Warlock's voice, and the Cyclone's certainty that is Maverick.... oh, man, what a scene...

The build up of Highway to the Danger Zone played very slowly as They ready the plane for take off! Epic take on the original.

It gets me every time when rooster saddles up and goes “omg this thing is so old” 😂 💀

I was actually at the edge of my seat in the cinema. The following chase is one of the best action scenes I've ever seen.

Grumman made some real beautiful cats over the years; the TigerCat is the most badass sounding plane ever made, and the Tomcat is the most ripped looking plane ever made.
