As a United man myself, the Community Shield will always be a glorified friendly and quite frankly you're better off losing pre-season friendlies if it leads to more player motivation for the new Premier League season.

Regarding Lewis's call...We conceded a goal by lack of defensive awareness by a player playing rb who doesn't play there. It is what it is. We now have two rbs on par to start either or. And we didn't play long ball all game what is he talking about. There passage of play we looked improved in. Chill out Lewis. Community is often sloppy, and we seen that from both sides. As a United fan I actually agree with most of Simon’s thoughts and opinions. Simon is not emotional about his opinions, he uses facts and logic. Wants to see consistent change.
