Get a Toyota, Honda, or old granddad Buick, Crown Vic, etc. They outlast everything.

I love to watch "In the Heat of the Night" it ran from 1988 to 1995. All the cars in the show were high enough to clear curbs without hitting something, weren't hard to enter and exit, rode nice, and trucks were normal sized not abnormal like now. I hate it though when they wreck a beautiful 2 door long bed 2 toned colored Chevy truck!

I watch a lot of murder documentaries & most serial killers have tarps in their trunks. It is incredible how many of the cars that Scotty reviews also have tarps in the trunks. 🤔

I would recommend the IS350 over the 250. The 250 feels neutered lol

The cat said Honda all the waaayyy baby!😂 It doesn't matter how beat up it is as long as it's better than walking.

I have a 99 CRV. Bought it 3 years ago for $2100, with 135k miles. Think it was flooded and had a misfire and cracked windshield. Replaced glass and plugs. Paint looks like crap but it runs like an energizer rabbit. I've driven it about 60k and it's still my go to daily beater.

When i went to the dealership I told them to show me a Lexus. They said we don't have any. But if you buy a Camry. It's as good and cheaper. I bought a 2015 SXE Camry. Very nice car. Good on gas. Dependable car. It's got 58,000 miles on it. ❤ My Carmy. And its paid for. No more car payments.🎉

I have the lexus is250 awd but a 2006 with 231,000 miles. Is a slow car, has consumption of oil aprox. 1/4 of gallon every 4,000 miles. In my opinion is a reliable car. The electronic steering module i had to changed for a used one it cost me $120 two years ago. I did water pump change and 2 cv axles. Nothing else. I do oil change every 5k miles.

I was looking for a Lexus IS for my son. In the end I decided it was too small, but just about every one I saw had been in an accident. Must be the combo of young drivers and fast engines.
  • @user-rz1yp5gs4h
Had that Honda for 5 years and yes it is good, but it WILL rust under the plastic panels and the whole bottom will rust, just better to be safe and NOT use it on a highway
  • @Coral-reef.
I have a 2006 lexus gs300. Literally the best car i have ever owned in my entire life. And ive owned over 20 cars.......

I wouldn't want to spend a summer in Houston. Not only do you need a five ton central air system you might also need window units on top of that. For real. Houston summers are nasty.
