As a bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

I remember hearing a theory about Avatar, that although Grace's conciousness never managed to be transferred into her avatar body, it transferred into the Pandoran neural network as a whole, so in a sense she merged with Eywa, and that's why the Pandoran wildlife joined the battle.

This movie is 12 years old, and it's graphics still hold up.
  • @Kosthoms
I love that the villain never gave up and jumped straight into every fight

The "Eywa has heard you!" part always gives me shivers and brings tears to my eyes. What an amazing feel good movie.
  • I think one of the things special about this film was how realistic they allowed the battle to be. Like of course there's protagonist armor, but they do also kill a lot of natives and some of our side characters. Most other movies just overpower the main characters so much the audience never has to worry about them. It adds a lot of suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
  • I've watched this movie with my father when I was in elementary, now I am at college and this is still one of the best movie I've ever watched. The CGI, the message of the movie and the plot.
  • The most iconic part in this battle is when the animals charge in the nick of time. I always tear up when Neytiri says “Eywa has heard you” twice because it’s so touching to see animals come to the alien’s rescue. This movie is a masterpiece, one of the best science fiction movies ever!
  • One of the greatest final battle scenes from one of the greatest movies ever made

James Cameron did an impressive job for Avatar. The graphics, designs, epic battle and best cast. One of the best grossing films ever made. I’ll wait for the next sequel when it released in theaters.

That fight between Jake and the mech was really good. Jake knew he couldn't withstand a full blown strike from the mech, but could parry and use his superior agility and mobility to dodge each swing and strike at the vulnerable points. Really good fight choreography here.
  • This movie is literally out of this world! I still can't believe this is 2009
  • @DarkSpino306
I think we can all agree that we're gonna watch this masterpiece again before the sequel(s) comes out.
  • One of the best movies, the bad guys don’t actually miss their shots.

Just came back from watching Avatar: The Way of Water. It’s worth the watch 🤩

Jake Sully is one of the most creative protagonists imo with how he transitions from being paralyzed in the legs to having the new body, and how he transitions from being a normal human to bonding with the Na’vi Edit for 2024: Say what you want about this movie (some people dislike it, and believe it’s very overrated, however I personally believe it’s a masterpiece of science fiction) but the imagination, art direction, visuals, and music are absolutely phenomenal!!!
  • Imagine going to another planet. All this wondrous phenomena like floating mountains and a living super organism you get see and hear. And you die by arrow

04:39 That one soldier who managed to kill 2 Na'avis on close range was the unsung hero of this movie
  • @99whizzman13
This film was literally full of action from start to finish.
