Does anyone else agree that the amount of engineering required to make these devices is just absolutely insane

Seeing phones from the outside and from the inside is totally a different experience. You'll appreciate the technology more when it's striped naked, especially something futuristic like a foldable. 👏

This is the only surgery my stomach can handle, but it is still pretty painful to watch! The Fold 4 hinge doesn't quite snap open as nice as the Fold 3, but it is still pretty smooth.

As an owner of both the ZF3 and ZF4, you can definitely tell there's an engineering difference in how the device opens and closes. The ZF3 does feel smoother, in a way, and the ZF4 feels more solid. Both are marvels.
  • I do miss the clear-back phones Jerry did back in the day. The skins are cool, but an actual clear back is undoubtedly cooler.

The FOLD is the productivity, usability and multi-media king of smartphones. It's so much more than any iphone. S-Pen, multitasking, multi-window, DEX, KNOX, taskbar, split-screen and on and on...

Watching this on my new Z Fold 4. Fascinating! Love the tear down and seeing the insides of what I am holding in my hands.
  • @ATM648
Clear was always my favorite, but I think pink and green take second and third! Simply amazing!
  • Considering you recycle the sand you use for foldables, I think you should find some bright neon green/pink sand to it's easier spot next time!

Love watching your content upon breaking inside throughout various phone models to determine their overall stability and durability if it shall last long over a good use throughout the years
  • Thank you for the video!!! I love my Fold 4 so far. It's narrow front screen does require a bit of getting used to, but it is very usable. When I want to watch a video, draw, read, or have a mini tablet for productivity I just unfold the device and bam. I came from the Note 20 Ultra and I'm not missing it yet! The SPen Fold helped me accept the Fold 4. I'd love to see an integrated s pen and the narrow front screen have compatibility for the spen too.

I’ve been waiting for this tear down. Amazing technology! Thank you for Sharing!
  • I’m absolutely loving my fold 4…sure it’s pricey but the thought and design that’s gone into it makes it worth it. And with the trade in offers and Samsung letting you claim and receive air buds at £219 and a fold starter pack at £89 it makes it even more worthwhile. Anyone thinking of taking the plunge I’d say go for it as you won’t be disappointed. Great video as always buddy.

Your'e absolutly right about the batteries! I tried changing the battery on my Note 10. Unfortunately some Isopropanol got through the fingerprint scanner to the display and completely destroyed it. RIP Note 10. I loved that phone 😭
  • @xburk550
Purchased this phone and could not be happier. Watching this video definitely proves why it costs so much. The sheer amount of engineering is mind blowing.

I have the zfold 2, used it for two years without any screen issues. I loved the versatility of the zfold so I've recently upgraded to the zfold 4. I can tell it's a bit thinner and lighter. From day one I used the Spigen slim case that protects the spine of the phone. My job requires me to carry a phone 24/7, so I use it ALOT, yes I've dropped it often (generally waste hight). I don't what I'd do without so much screen space. Thanks for your videos...love the Hummer, Cheers!
  • Got the fold 3 and LOVE IT! Genuinely the best phone I've ever had tbh..
  • @Scrammy18
I love all my Folds. They all still look basically new with everyday use. They hold up much better than I think most people believe
  • @c63amgblack
I have the fold 4 and I traded in my fold 2 which i bought used. These things are magical. Nobody technically needs this but it is soo cool and really helps when doing computer-like things on your phone. Thanks for the great video as always
