my rarest shiny was in black and white - first pixel pokemon game, first playthrough, first encounter of the day, first encounter in icirrus, first time ever seeing that pokemon - and it was a female shiny mienfoo!! i named her barbie and trained her up to be Karate Barbie 💖✨

My two shinies I'm proud of are my Shiny Alpha Scyther into Kleavlor; full odds no outbreak, just a random one. My other is the rough journey getting shiny mew from pokemon red; my game corrupted near the end on the first try due to trying to duplicate regular mews just to have, but yeah had to play through red again to get my now mightiest-marked Mew.

Sinestcha is amazing with strength sap, matcha gotcha ( basically grass type scald that’s a spread move and recovers health ) and big root, it even is one of the few Pokémon that gets scald !

Im not in the discord server but my rarest shiny is Roaring Moon caught in a Moon Ball that somehow worked with no resets The Roaring Moon spawned 30 seconds before the sandwich ended

These are some cool shinies! My rarest would absolutely be a shiny weedle I found in Crystal. Not only was it random, not hunting. But it was random in the bug catching contest. My post about it even made a brief appearance in a video I saw.

Found this one recently: a shiny skiploom from the first wave of a mass outbreak in Violet, no shiny charm, no sandwich, so about half odds. That wasn't all; when I caught it, I noticed it had a mark so I put it in my party to check. Imagine my utter bafflement when it was the Rare Mark! No sandwich. Did I forget to mention that Jumpluff is one of my favorite shinies? Another story this time from a couple years ago: found a shiny honedge in a random dynamax raid I joined... ONE DAY AFTER THE GAME CAME OUT.

My rarest (while less rare now, since the raid event in SV) is a shiny hisuian decidueye in safari ball. Only way to get a rowlet in safari ball was during a short raid event back in swsh, which safari balls are already rare to have period. Let alone catch it in it. And then I saved it and when legends arceus was released I decided to finally evolve it into the hisuian variant instead. So it was quite rare. But I’m sure some people have them now
