The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was a game-changer – it revolutionized our cinematic experience, and reshaped how we interact and engage with films. Unlike most film series that stick to a fairly straightforward trilogy format, the MCU weaves its narratives across numerous trilogies and series, creating a web of interconnected stories that build a saga, mirroring that rich world-building that we felt when reading the comics.

  • I was 16 when Iron Man came out and I've watched everything released thus far... What a journey! 😂

With X-Men i would actually advise going in this order because with X-Men we are telling with two seperate timelines and not just one. X-Men First Class Origins: Wolverine X-Men X-Men 2 X-Men: The Last Stand The Wolverine X-Men: Days of Future Past X-Men: Apocalypse X-Men: Dark Phoenix Deadpool Deadpool 2 New Mutants Logan Because DOFP resets the timeline of the X-Men films, so Origins all to the way to the future portions of DOFP are undone, creating a new timeline in where Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool, New Mutants and Logan all take place in.

  • The Kang Dynasty no longer has that subtitle. It's only listed as Avengers 5... Pretty sure they cut Jonathan Majors loose...
  • The very 1st two lines you spoke in this video are 100% truth sir. Thank you for appreciating all the great theatrical experiences the MCU brought us. Unlike so many of these jaded, entitled folks on the internet.

I started with Infinity War (inadvertedly), and though it is one of my least favorite MCU films (because of its bleak ending) I wanted to know if they could revert this, and then started watching the other Infinity saga films. I did not watch them in order, but by character, starting with Guardians of the Galaxy, as this came highly recommended (and I loved it), same as Black Panther, and then the Avengers movies, the Captain America movies, the Thor movies, etc. with the new movies in cinema in between. I would not recommend this order, but I did not have problems with understanding the movies, as each movie had its own adventure, and I did not have to have seen the movies that came before to understand them, though, when I rewatched everything in order of release with my brother, I noticed that it does improve the fun. But a lot of refernces between movies worked both ways. Seeing Thanos in the GotG and in one of the post credit scenes was just as fun a reference after I knew whould happen than it would have been the other way round. So everyone who wants to jump in the MCU who has not seen any of the movies - you can start with any movie (or show) except Endgame, which is the second part of a 2-parter. And every additional movie will improve the enjoyment of the next movie. Knowing what I know now, if I was new to the MCU, I would start with the newest one and continue watching the newest one in the cinema (just because everyone is talking about them) and in the time between movies, I would rewatch the old ones in release order (and I would include the Eric Bana Hulk movie, as this fits perfectly as a prequel to The Incredible Hulk, albeit with different actors). Or ask someone who has seen them all, which movies or shows are most relavant to the latest movie and watch them first. For Deadpool&Wolverine, I would recommend the Loki show and of course the other 2 Deadpool movies and maybe the Wolverine Origin movie (even though many do not like it, but for newcomers, it does explain who Wolverine is).
