The camera guy is the real mvp. "Can't you just buy denim?" 😂 just imagine the cost had you done this in Levi's.
  • @DOITWITHDAN
The Jable turned out great! The "Cant you just buy denim?" killed me lmao
  • @LauraMe...
I do not know how your video popped up in my account, but as a crafter, sewer, and thrifty recycler... I watched every second! This process was so fascinating. And the results?! Just incredible. If you want to use the pants think smaller, end tables, coffee tables, maybe some modernist designs with curves and skinny legs. BRASS WAS GENIUS whether intentional or not, the brass mimics the studs in making of genes, and your brass outlets were just cherries on the dessert❣ and the leather is also a nod the the jeans lifestyle. All thats left is to get leather tags embossed with your branding to put your claim to these art pieces. You are absolutely on to something. And you can add design elements with your colored epoxy like rhinestones. ❤❤❤

The denim, leather, brass combo table is an instant classic and would fit in almost any casual space. I love the fact that the denim slab could be used as stock to make parts. I can see people using it for automotive trim pieces, gun stocks and grips and even jewelery. And you haven’t even scratched the surface of different colors or tie dyed denim.

"Picasso was a horrible woodworker." 😂😂😂 Fantastic work as always. Love the denim and brass look.
  • @That_Stealth_Guy
He deserved that table 100%. Talk about a humble man. I don't know if I like the idea of using denim, or his leather wrapping skills more! Kudos to both of you for making an amazing desk!

Frankly speaking, I'm actually full of admiration for people like you who dare anything just to produce something innovative. What energy required... and what talent it takes !

Honestly, this is so dope! I think this is the first piece of furniture I was moved by. No just the efforts but the deisgn, the wishbone legs, the color contrast of denim with brown leather, the crafstmanship! Just reallyyyy amazing!
  • Awesome project! Since you asked for suggestions—as an aerospace engineer, my mind jumps to vacuum infusion. It’s a pretty common technique in aircraft manufacturing, and one of the big benefits is you can completely avoid the mess of epoxy. You would basically put the whole denim stack in a sealed bag with some “flow media” as the top layer. Then you pull vacuum on the bag on one side and allow your epoxy to flow in through the other side. Once it’s fully infused, you let it cure under vacuum. Then you can peel the bag off it and ideally you have a perfect denim layup with no mess. Hope this helps!

I'm an old (87) lady that loves to watch you create! I love the look of denim for the table. It gave me the idea of making denim coasters. I got too old to sell my resin items at craft shows, so I give it all away. I think you are a great artist!
  • @sjgrabowski
Wrangler - Denim Phase, yes! Love that you honor the artistic tradition. Original paintings in artist original frames, sculptures on bases, table tops on legs. May you continue to find new ways to elevate the craft and artistry!
  • @snkolson
That Denim looked absolutely beautiful after it came out of the planner. My vote is you do one like that next as a set of coffee table. Great work and as always very inspiring

LEVIS... I am absolutely speechless on so many fronts. Firstly, you tried something totally new and really struggled with it, but eventually created a masterpiece. Secondly you collaborated with an absolute artist (perfectionist) not unlike like yourself. Thirdly, you rewarded him with the gift of the work of art that you both created together. I am embarrassed that all I can do to support you is subscribing to your channel and commenting on every video of yours that I see. You are a craftsman, a gentleman and a great human being. I salute you.
  • @Thomasfrank
You could start a whole channel just for scraping epoxy off stuff, so satisfying to watch 😄
  • @ArtyBicardi
This is beyond CRAZY!!! Every single little detail and over all is super unique and looks amazing!
  • This was my first video I've ever seen of yours...this piece is truly one of THE most STUNNING pieces of craftsmanship between two artists!!! If I could afford to purchase a work of art like that for my home...I would be HONORED and BLESSED to have that piece in my home!!
  • As a textile designer this would be smart for textile waste, many textile factories give the waste fabrics for free. Smaller pieces like nightstand tops for smaller pieces, you could use printed fabrics too. It's a interesting idea to use old curtains that fall apart as a table would look awesome.
  • @Carpetcleanerman
In my humble opinion this is your best piece yet. The whole premise of it, the journey, the heartbreak, turning the corner and then giving it to Shaneen... Awesome!!!
  • @Cowgirl77Hikes
I love that you push the envelope and just go with your vision - Gives the rest of us artists the courage to try. Beautiful work.
