Seems like you tube has been going down the tubes lately. My gf had her channel of 15 years removed two weeks ago for something she never did. She was a channel partner with over 10k subscribers. It's a shame this stuff is happening but it's all on the parent company who runs (ruins) this platform.

Why would anyone go out of their way to leave a fake/ bad review? That's not right. I feel bad for that business. I understand there will always be people who will not like your channel. That's Youtube life... But when a person goes out of their way to harm a business, family members or friends ... that's isn't cool. Just my 2 cents.

Defamation - can be described as a false statement presented as a fact that ends up causing injury or damage to the reputation of a person, business, or entity. For instance, if a statement is false, and a business loses customers due to the false statement, it may be considered defamation. Defamation can be in the form of libel or slander, and it can be bad for any business. That being said just because someone uses a fake username doesn't mean that Google can't find out who they are via subpoena. I hope this person doesn't cause any issues for a innocent business but if they really wanted to, they can go after this person in court.

Next time I am in Florida I will make it a point to get a whole bag of their bagels. I looked at their website and they go the extra mile to produce a quality product.

I saw a news story ine time a couple got sued for leaving a fake review. They were on the hook for a six figure payment. The business owner eventually stopped the lawsuit out of pity
