I would have saved these squid, but first I would have saved my stomach

Man these beaches must stink like hell during these periods

Whenever people talk about how "animals don't feel pain like us" all I can think - as someone who has chronic pain and who goes to a number of groups - HUMANS don't even expirence pain like other humans. What hurts you might not hurt me, and pain that leaves me helpless might be nothing for you. Who cares if they don't feel pain "like humans". I'll bet it still sucks to sufficate and die.
  • I normally watch your videos at night once my day has ended and I'm getting comfy in bed. It was only recently when I was sharing my sleeping space and didnt have one of your videos playing that I realized I have conditioned myself to relax to your voice. Without it I can not settle to sleep on my own. Great thing you make amazing videos!

So weird, when I discovered the channel I loved it but then got fed up quickly. Cant watch this channel often anymore.

You're my personal motivator to drink coffee in the morning and get ready for work under a routine

Ask a nurse—many of them are taught (and some still believe)that infant children don’t feel pain. I’m not kidding! My wife has been a paediatric nurse for decades and is really pissed that many contemporary nurses still spout that malarkey. Mainly to get out of work and charting! So spare a thought for those little humans that have just had their chest cracked open for heart surgery and are stuck with a nurse who won’t give them their prescribed opioids but rather gives them a few milligrams of Tylenol for pain and some Gravol (sedative anti-nausea medication) to knock them out for a few hours so they can be sure to get their gallon of coffee for the morning!

"you know cause humans and donkeys are related... they're both mammals."

Never knew about the high ammonia content for buoyancy, that's interesting!

There was and i believe there still is a giant squid in a Lisbon museum since at least the mid 80's. I saw it my self when i was a kid.

Collect all you get and burried on soil plants, decompose fertilizer plant.
  • OK, here's a serious but weird question: Is anybody else totally creeped-out by squid? I have an instinctive loathing of squid. No other creature has this effect on me. In fact, I love octopuses. I find them "cute." This video was impossible to watch in one sitting. I had to keep stepping away to deal with revulsion at all the squid. Apparently there is such a thing as teuthiphobia but I never realized how bad I have it until today.

I spent a grim 5 months at sea as an International Fisheries Observer on a Japanese driftnetter where nobody spoke English and they thought I was a Government spy. We were fishing fr these same Flying Squid. I’ve seen literally tons of them.

I actually felt sorry for the squid by the end of this. Poor suffering little things... Calamari anyone?
  • @Moulton_Lava
Excuse me squids can go on land, ever play splatoon?
  • @Bubblebunz
These animals are smarter than most humans, they are very smart. Its sad we torture them

While I enjoy the content of this channel because it’s so informative, I’m having a hard time with the pitch of the narrator’s voice: it’s almost like he’s shouting and I have to turn the volume way down. If there’s any way in post production to lower that slightly nasal and high-pitched tone, these videos would be so much more enjoyable. Thanks so much.

Maybe they're just attempting to avoid this voting term.... this one is far more painful.

We’ve reached the begging for like button era.
