A man that has a woman to follow him into the woods is amazing your lucky man

I did the same exact thing in the early 70'2 after Nam, had the same horse problem, and had a mule with me also. I did the Pacific NW trail, the first time I tried but failed, and planned wrong. The following year completed it.... praise God. Yes, I came back a different person...after the war,I need that, changed me for the better. Semper- Fi.

Number one I am a retired fish and wildlife officer from Alaska and I can guarantee you if a man is starving the hunting laws do not apply. Number two you actually have to kill something to break a law to begin with, I'm thinking behind the scenes The producer slips you a sandwich in your sleeping bag along with the hot hands😮. And certainly a sack of cracked corn for seven.

My bro do you know how many people are in big trouble if the grocery stores were to close??? YOUR VIDEOS ARE VERY USEFUL AND BELIEVE EVEN A LIFE LONG OUTDOORS PERSON CAN LEARN FROM YOUR VIDEOS… Keep up the good work…
  • You know that the early mountain men bought provisions such as coffee' sugar and salt so. No shame in bringing such things. I do however love the pure way you go about these adventures. My father did the same in Alaska in the late 40's and early 50's. God bless and I'll be keeping a good thought for you and yours.

I had a giggle, when Laramy's wife said she is worried and stressed. meanwhile his in the mountains having a time of his life... dont remember him worrying about his significant other, it shows how peaceful it is being in the woods once in a while just head out there..

My uncle used ro use my childhood address and my faimlys house as his home base when he was an OTR driver. He kept his cars, guns, motorcycle... ect here. He saved alot of money that way and me and my brother were always excited to see him every month or two when he came to town.

First time I found your story and what a great story it is. These are things I dreamed of as a young boy. I have been on several adventures in my 74 years of life but never anything of this caliber. You have a Wonderful family to be able to let ypou follow your dreams. Thank you and your family for sharing a wonderful journey through some very wonderful dangerous country. I would of had a gun😊
  • Love the half eaten bag of Jack Links jerky laying on top of the tarp he slept on as he says he has to find food to survive 😂

Support crew does not automatically mean food or shelter. It does mean more for him to ultimately consider/worry about than himself & his horse. Honesty is a major part of survival & filming survival, as it happens, when it happens. There are enough of us that know about real life survival to help keep most of these survival shows fair & square. If you don't think it's on the up & up don't watch. There are plenty of others to watch. I am enjoying & identifying with this trip enough to want to see more from Laramy.❤

I love hunting, nothing like the thrill of the hunt, and when you catch your meat, the feeling is like joy and happiness
  • No Gun ?? you should have a Musket at least. Thanks I've always wanted to do that to. I camp a lot. And yes I feel like I was born 160 years to late !!

No rifle, no pistol, no tomahawk, no mountain man.

This is what my soul has been yearning for, for the past 13 years. Proud of you. Good to see the love and patience you have with Seven your horse. I learned some different things from your shared experiences. Thank you. I will download this, save it. Take some notes and do some drawings. God bless you and yours.

My father and I walked 50 miles into the wind river range and stayed there a month. I learned my survival skills/mindset from a man that ate dogs, bugs and horses in order to survive.
