Anyone else on a survivorman binge?
-
I love how he walks away from the cameras like he ain't about to come back and get them
-
I was shocked to find your youtube channel. I practically grew up watching your programs with my dad! So upon my discovery, I shared with him the details. "Hey, did you know Les Stroud retained the rights to his shows and published them ALL for FREE for everyone on youtube??" He just responded with a smile and said, "Sounds like something he would do" I love your spirit, man. You're an icon.
-
The ultimate moral of this episode ironically enough is that there is simply no "surviving" in the desert. Once you run out of water, unless you have a safety camp to hike to a couple hours away, you're toast.

Les eating locust abdomen: "Mmm... that taste pretty good" Les eating jam: "Eww I cant eat that"
-
Can I just say that I love Survivorman being on YouTube! I hope it stays!
-
51 episodes, 51 weeks. This man spent nearly a year in the craziest environments on earth.
-
The funny part had Les Stroud started doing survivorman nowadays it would probably be a YouTube series
-
Oh man, I am so glad you moved everything to Youtube. Quite a thing to come back to after 15 years.
-
It takes a smart man to know how to survive in the wilds, and show others. It takes a wise man to know when enough is enough and they are in danger.
-
This show improves my life, brings me back to being a kid
-
I’m from Namibia and although the Kalahari may seem harsh, its easily one of the most beautiful areas in Africa and definitely one of the best places to hunt!🔥
-
The safety crew seems so mysterious.

That mirage legit had me fooled. Wow. It's one thing to think "ah I wouldn't fall for that" but in a dire situation I'd have fallen for it.
-
This has always been one of my fav survivorman episodes due to the second night. I experienced heat exhaustion once before, it is extremely scary situation. Just waves of heat pouring off your body but you don't feel any cooler. You almost feel hotter. After I experienced that and rewatched this episode a week later, I gained so much more respect for Les. I was in a city, I couldn't imagine the feelings he went through in the desert.
-
I'm surprised that ostrich egg wasn't already cooked after 5 days
-
Thanks for uploading these. Les Stroud was without a doubt the most authentic and best survivalist. A true legend forsure.
-
You gotta realize Les did this while being sick. Huge props to him

This guy was better and more real then any man vs wild crew
