Hi joe. I love the entire series! Im sailing as chief mate on chemical tankers! Ive been documenting my life at sea on my channel for 2 years now. Somehow, even though i shoot the exact same type of content and live it on a daily basis, i have to say there is something special about the way you create these videos. I do hope some day, we meet on the same ship. Thank u, u inspire creators and sailors like me, daily.
  • I have followed this channel from the time you began at the academy until this video. You have the knack for storytelling in a way that puts your viewers right there with you, and with no BS! Keep it up!
  • It's probably been 2 or 3 years since my last comment on Youtube but I have to write one for this video. Thank you so much for this journey, your videos are incredible. Quite the opposite of what you find on Youtube nowadays but they are so entertaining and yet relaxing at the same time. It was a pleasure watching those videos and, at times, it truly felt like we were with you on that ship. Thank you from France !

Hello I was born in Odda Norway, lived in Tyssedal and become a sailor myself. Signed on a OBO carrier in Beaumont Texas in 1978. Traveled around the world and signed of in Beaumont 7 months later. Was a sailor until 1985 and recognize the job you do. It haven’t changed so much. Today I am a truck driver in Sweden. Love your Chanel.

Great series man! I was once a Naval Flight Officer, so my onboard tasks were very different, but watching your ventures is great.
