The nationwide CDC eviction moratorium doesn’t protect all tenants from eviction or homelessness. Margaret and John Eaddy have been living out of their car for nearly three months after they were evicted from their home on September 29. Now, they are struggling to find permanent housing. According to lawyers and community organizers, many people are confused about their legal protections under the moratorium.

What is $600 going to do for these people? Our government is pathetic

This could be any of us. Many of us are one or two checks from being homeless. Be kind because this could be you and your family.

When she said “I wish I had a cozy home” my heart broke 💔

Meanwhile politicians are still debating over a stimulus check.

My blood started boiling when she was denied the prequalification for the home because of the eviction. Just cruel.

My heart is aching😭 Few months ago I found a family with two little kids , evicted from their apartment. I took out all the items from my basement and put it outside covering plastic and let in this evicted family. Told them not to worry about payment until they find a job and until they saved money to cover their their future apartment rent for 2 months. Guess what, after 3 months the father landed on a good paying job and they moved out to apartment. Now we are like family, we call each other. Now my basement is a place to welcome those in need and occupied by a husband and a wife recently moved to US. I wish if it is not occupied sothat I can warmly welcome this man and woman in the video! I hope they find a place to live! Hug from me to you my beautiful souls!!! Life is short, no human being should be left behind! Let’s help each other and let we all get over this monster pandemic!!

This could happen to anyone always keep humble and grateful
  • Many Americans are one paycheck away from being homeless - so people don't think this can't happen to you.

It should be a crime to evict people during this Pandemic.

Now I’m starting to see part of the reason Vanlife is expanding and looking good. Some (not all) are just trying to survive.

When you're comfortable you're supposed to be preparing for the uncomfortable times, that means savings. He lost his job driving trucks but what happened to her job? They have no kids so she had no excuse to not be out working too. It's not enough to have one income in a house anymore.

I am an American, and this is a complete embarrassment.

I dislike how this channel capitalized off this couple’s story yet they didn’t list any links or information for others to help and assist them.

The way capitalism sees housing as a commodity to be sought after and competed for is so disgusting. Everyone deserves somewhere to live
  • Is there an update on them? Please let us know that they’re in a new by now. Praying for them…🙏🏾
