People can clown on Nick Wright all they want for his homerism, but until a team has shown they can be a consistent threat to the Chiefs (Bengals looked like that at first but then lost to an injured Mahomes with a depleted receiver corps), his opinions are 1000% justified. That is simply a fact.

Chiefs fans not having Nick's back here is crazy. If my team had the goat at QB and countless magical moments on the way to a dynasty i would have 100% confidence as well. Enjoy yourselves! Its so rare a team achieves this kind of success

Both Lamar and Joe Burrows have missed the ends of 2 seasons each in that 5 year span. Don't assume The Chiefs would've won 5 Superbowls. They won what they earned.

Nick there is always competition. No one knows what will happen. As a Chiefs fan a threepeat would be amazing but the eggs have not been laid and counting chicken before they hatch is a no no!

Cue the annual 'wElL nIcK iS jUsT tHreAtEnED aNd SCARED!!!!' takes from whatever team's fans declare themselves a 'threat' 😂
  • The Chiefs haven't won the conference FIVE STRAIGHT YEARS. What a weakness!!!
  • @bankslaw8900
The Ravens imo couldn’t ask for a better opener. Especially for the coaches.

As a KC fan it's embarrassing Nick says they have no competition because I don't agree with him at all. KC BARELY won the last two AFC Championships and BARELY won the last two Superbowls. I'm super glad they won, but the ball won't always bounce their way. GO CHIEFS!
  • Man I remember when the Chiefs had a playoff game where they never punted and lost. Or when they put up 41 points without their best player, and still lost. Or lost another playoff game when the opposing QB threw a pass TO HIMSELF and caught it for the win. Gone are the days where the Chiefs score nothing but TDs but lose to a team who only scored FIELD GOALS. Gotta love sitting through TV blackouts, 2-14, 4-12 seasons. Have you ever watched a drive where the opposing team starts on their own 20, gain less than 20 yards of total offense and still score a touchdown on your favorite team? IDC what anyone has to say or think about the Chiefs, and I could not give a single rip who is offended by it or is mad that their team got sent home. I love the fact that the Chiefs are the talk of the town and are no longer the laughing stock of the NFL. I have a small feeling of pride when I hear Nick talk about the Chiefs, and reading people's comments. I love it all. Every time I see someone crying about Nick's well-deserved homerism I think an entire year is added to my life, at least it feels that way. Being a Chiefs fan has been so weird, because as a kid, teen, and young adult, I was clowned for supporting the hometown team. Now, I'm accused of bandwagoning and it couldn't be more refreshing. I wish I still had my Priest Holmes jersey, but I rock my Jamaal Charles from time to time. The next one I want is definitely a Patrick Mahomes jersey, but I want the one where he still went by Mahomes II. It's extremely rare now.

Never A Doubt, Nick should get another 20-0 tattoo

    Lmao I’m surprised y’all didn’t try to say it’s cincy 😂☠️
  • @ChrisB-vb9hh
Just imagine Burrow with the kind of offensive lines that Mahomes has played behind for pretty much his whole career!?! I mean they’re 1-1 in AFC Championship games and 3-1 in the regular season. I’m not sure that I can follow the narrative set by Nick?
  • @XxMrManxX9451
Let’s be real, the 49ers, Texans, Ravens, and maybe the Lions are the only teams that likely come even close to beating KC this season
  • Should have been the Texans. Last year it was the Lions because everyone knew they were an up-and-coming contender. The Texans are ascending, would have been great to see them get the same exposure the Lions got.
  • @ADL21
the Ravens were a missed PI and a goal line fumble from being the Super Bowl. If they can get breaks against the chiefs, they can beat the chiefs.
