I think the fact that this has 40 mil views speaks volumes about how well-presented the cutscenes in this game are.

Weird how we all showed up around the same time, but then that just means we all needed a wave of nostalgia. I was 4 when it was released. Now I'm 18 and about to graduate. Honestly, as a kid i always admired the opening cause it was so flashy and all But now, i still admire it, more than ever After learning about animating and how things really work, im ever more amazed on how they pulled this off

This game looks so damn good for it's time. Especially the CG opening and Dark Gaia cutscenes. They're some of the best I've ever seen from a videogame.

this game was released in 2008 and the pre rendered cutscenes look absolutely glorious, like, seriously. I would love a sega produced movie with that kind of animation and quality in it. I'd argue that sega makes some of the most baller game animations sometimes.

doesn't matter how much fans trash this game, it still has the best quality in story, graphics, humor and voice acting. Sonic team will probably never do anything like this again. I miss the hub worlds 😞
