Wait, what if the water distribution between the old world and the new world separated by the Grand Line is quite literally the same thing as wano being submerged. Maybe in the new world the water has accumulated so much that it has submerged all the old prominent cities and as such the destruction of the grand line would make it so that it evens out again and the old history comes to light.

This really makes mihawk even greater imo. Mihawk and whitebeard are the only people we have seen talk down to shanks while everyone else seems to be scared of shanks and respect him. Mihawk literally called him to his face a one armed has been. Zoro will be yonko level by the end of the series.
