Saw it yesterday, was the embodiment of good time no alcohol required, I had a lot of fun watching it with my buddies, and would watch it again, it's not a masterpiece or anything but it was just a really fun superhero action movie and that's all it needed to be, I had way more of a good time watching this than I did Multiverse of Madness or Love and Thunder, it was just a fun time

When IGN said this movie is a 5 and Love and Thunder is an 8, I was reassured that for movie reviews, only Mr. Jahns can be trusted. Now I'm looking foward for this movie! Cheers from Brazil!

Using the JSA actually makes a lot of sense, Black Adam went up against them many times in the comics, and was even part of the team at some point.

Definitely a fun movie! Plot wasn't deep, but didn't have to be. Dr Fate was my favorite character from the movie. Sometimes we just wanna see action and have fun

Sometimes you hear something so much that you start to believe it's true. I was super skeptical about this movie but when it was over I started to think, maybe I watched something else because this shit was AWESOME!

Black Adam is exactly the superhero comic book movie it should be. It succeeds where Marvel fails, in trying to be a work of art rather than just...FUN! It has all the beats a comic book has, opening exposition, a thread on which to string its action, and most of all compelling superheroes. 'Compelling' since they are all so over the top powerful in contrast to everyone and everything else, and know who and what they are well enough not to be overly concerned about their impact. Loved it!

Honestly, I would love a 3-hour cut of this movie, I had a blast watching it as is.

We live in a world where a Black Adam movie is actually better than Thor Love and Thunder starring two Oscar winners Natalie Portman and Christian Bale. And Jeremy's rating tells that too

I felt like this movie finally nailed comedy for DC. So many parts I laughed at, even in the fights! Everything to do with the huge dude just made me laugh. The two teenagers were fun and I loved the family story (both of them) and the dynamic between Dr. Fate and Hawkman. I knew nothing about any of these characters going in and I want a ton more. I'm also just a fan of Hawkman's actor.

I went to the cinema expecting it not to be great and ended up having a great time, humour, action, cool characters and I actually liked the Rocks acting 😅

From a story perspective it was pretty stereotypical, but from an action and character standpoint it was freaking fantastic. The action/chase scenes and CGI were amazing, and Dr. Fate stole every scene he was in, it was incredible. Extremely entertaining film, just don’t go in expecting like infinity war or something.
