I feel like he was loved but neglected. They overfed him because they equated it with love but were unable or unaware of how to maintain him in a grooming capacity. He's very sweet.

He wagged his tail almost every time he was told he was a good boy. ☺️

I love how even though he started to panic with both the water and the blow dryer, we could actually SEE the moment he decided "Oh, actually - this is quite nice. Nevermind. Cancel panic." 😂

As of right now, 10/20, Snuffy is still listed on the Niagara SPCA website as being available for adoption. ❤ Someone give this fluffy sausage a home!

You could use this video for the adoption. Seeing how good of a temperament he had during his probably first ever groom. He's got the patience of a saint.

As of November 3rd, "Snuffy" is still listed as available for adoption on the website of the Niagara SPCA. I'd adopt him if I could but I'm in no position to take care of another dog: if you're in the same way, please consider making a donation to the shelter so that they can continue their mission of rescuing and finding safe, loving "fur-ever" homes for Snuffy and so many dogs (and cats!) like him.

He's been affectionately renamed "Snuffy" and is still up for adoption! Such a cutie ❤

Wish we could see an "after" pic of when he is happily in a forever home with a meal plan, exercise routine, and regular brushing! Maybe his future humans will bring him back to be groomed here in a future video :)

He's still available on their website, under the name "Snuffy." Poor big fella. They've got a lot of dogs in the shelter - unusual for Canadian shelters. They're all large dogs. Those can be harder to re-home. It would be nice if the Niagara SPCA linked to this video so potential adopters could see how well-behaved he is.

For such a big lump, he's actually a pretty intelligent dog it seems. He was trying to remove his headband, until he heard the noise of the dryer, then I think he realised why you put it on him and he stopped trying to take it off and just chilled sitting with it on letting you dry him for the most part.
