Hello ladies and handsome men, today I am beating Dark Souls 2, critically stated by the internet to be the WORST Dark Souls game in the Soulsborne Franchise. Since I'm planning on doing a Dark Souls / Soulsborne Marathon on my Twitch, I decided to scope out Dark Souls 2: Scholars of the First Sin before I gave this run a go.
And wow, Dark Souls 2 is rough.

Hello ladies and handsome men, I wanna preface this with I DON'T HATE DARK SOULS 2. The game has some of my favorite armor designs, area designs, story, and it has some of the most unique experiences I've ever had in a Souls Game. BUT, janky enemy placement, insane aggro range, and clunky movement really grinded my gears more than you can even imagine. I recommend this game, but only after you've taken a shot of Redbull, and have been attending frequent therapy sessions with your therapist.

as a ds2 apologist, thank you for giving it a chance! I understand it's not for everyone, but it was the first of the souls games I platinumed and I really loved it!

I am SO glad I saw the Pursuer fight before I played 2, and found out I could use the ballista to take him out... only to kill him in the other area he spawns in before the fight and then wondering why the heck he wasn't there for me. He. Startled. Me.

Dark souls 3 has kind of the opposite problem of ds1 where the beginning sucks instead of the end, but honestly once you reach the abyss watchers (one of the best bosses btw) it goes away and that’s so early ite not even really something to be worried about, so enjoy!

It's the best dark souls because it did what the others couldn't It was a actual sequel with unique mechanics and actually difficulty Dark souls 2 is the authentic difficulty fromsoftware tries to have Also the hit boxes the community consider jank are called square hit boxes

This video is going to go so hard on my 10 hour plane flight!! dark souls 2 and terraria are my two favourite games and am happy Adrian is playing it. I hope he enjoys it despite the flaws :) keep up the great videos (omniscient reader was one of the best things I’ve read in a while)

i did the rotten with only 10 ADP and i never got hit once, no problem at all. u just need 20 ADP to have ds1 FAST ROLL IFRAMES. something that nobody know is that ATN ( attunment ) also raises your AGL ( agility ) stat, this is why mages DON'T NEED adp at all, because ATN also boost your cast speed, and is also magic slots, and it also increases your number of cast per each spells. 20 adp is not that much since the game throw u so many souls when u kill a boss.
