Hey guys, I’m mixing it up in this tune. I’m playing some of James parts and some of Kirks parts. Basically, I’m playing all the melody parts and of course Kirks solos are all in there. The harmony tabs and all that are going to be posted on my Patreon page later on today for anyone who wishes to support me on there! I tried to get it all in the one video, but it just became very cluttered so I just wanted to highlight the parts that I would personally play as a lead guitar player when approaching this tune. Over these last few months, the beginning of ‘One’ has become a great warm up exercise for me. The precision of the arpeggios was super difficult for me at first, but once I learned the parts it became a great tool for me to work on the precision of playing without being sloppy. Once I had actually gotten it… I realized how useful it would be to warm up my hands. Especially before trying to tackle something new and intimidating. Great work! Thanks, brother. 👍🏼🎶

I learned this song more than 10 years ago, but I still keep watching covers/lessons just to see if people play correctly that acoustic interlude at the beginning or after the choruses. You're one of the few ones who actually play like the original!

Dude, your tabs are something else. I didnt even realize that i played the tapping solo wrong (for almost 20 years), no other tab or tutorial on the web has it figured out like you do. 👍

So THAT is how the tapping part is played. Or at the very least, it sounds the closest to the actual recording. I've seen other tabs or lesson vids, but none of them sounded like what Kirk plays. This one does. Thanks!
