This guy nails the tone every single time 🤩🤩
  • You nailed that solo. Even kirk nowadays can't play every single note perfectly but you did it

When I was a teenager, I started taking guitar lessons in a group setting. I wasn't learning much and wasn't "getting it". When my teacher encouraged me to take private lessons, I started to improve, and the very first song I learned was "Seek and Destroy". It blew me away - and some of my friends - that I could play along to MetallicA. Thanks for the trip down memory lane

15 years on classical guitar, recently got a shiny Ibanez AR420 TBG and as beginner I absolutely love to jam along to your videos.
  • Hey guys! Thanks for requesting this Metallica tune. I had a blast with this. My vision for this project was to try and replicate the guitar tones but also use similar drum sounds from the Black Album while keeping a similar bass tone to the legend himself, Cliff Burton. Downpicking is the way to go for the rhythm in this tune. The solo was a challenge to get note for note with the really fast picking part. I'm not sure if Hammett was aiming for a particular pattern or if he just randomly hit notes in measure 148 and 149. But it sure sounds completely awesome on the Studio take. It's up to you if you want to get it note for note exact. This is one of the coolest solos he has written IMO. I'm getting a lot of requests for Creeping Death, Blackened, and some really classic Metallica. I love it. There's some really heavy bands being requested. Pantera, Megadeth, Motley Crue, Sabbath, Sevenfold, etc. What are your thoughts? Leave a comment below!

Hands down the best channel of its type on Youtube. The playing skill, the tab accuracy, the sound, and the choice of clothing and guitars as cherry on top.

First metal song I ever learned and I'm quite relieved I got it mostly right according to this.

Thank god you made a video on this song. I’ve been looking for the past couple of days for a tab on this song but none of them look, or are set out as perfect as yours. I mean yeah, I could learn off of them other videos, but it’s easier with your videos. Thanks a lot man for all the songs you’ve taught me
  • You get everything right! The tone, the papa Het down picking and even his guitar. Simply awesome. 🤘🏻 Loved the mortal Kombat-style "Fight"
  • Metallica is the reason why I decided to pick up guitar and your videos have helped me so much. Thank you for all you do!

i literally just started learning this song yesterday. thanks for another excellent tutorial! 😄

always wondered what the solos from early Metallica would sound like with properly articulated bends. pretty much awesome. it sounds so different. it's amazing how a little sloppy bending by Kirk adds this raucous/chaotic kind of sound on the original recording. fantastic cover as always, Mr. T. Perfect guitar tone.
  • this is the first song i ever learned. it holds a dear place in my soul. :) thanks for the tutorial
  • As always, peak performance and peak delivery. Extremely grateful, Mr Tabs!
  • you know telepathy man. Was binge watching your channel thinking "hmm he hasn't posted tabs for almost 2 weeks..." and thought of earlier Metallica albums and here you are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
  • @sitlufla1959
Was just thinking about learning this one. Awesome!!
  • I’ve not played this in a looong time, you made me pick up n play today!! Thank you!
