Amish People. A day with the Amish in Blacksburg Virginia

Look how much they smile and laugh. Its wholesome

This made me smile, genuinely. They laugh so easily, happy people living in harmony with nature. May God continue to protect them.

Here is a community of people living a simple happy life, NO new iPhone every few years, NO rubbish social media destroying their lives, NO dependence on a massive mortgage to make the banks rich. NO junk food that puts you in your grave real fast. NO influences of media manipulating their life. These people are living in paradise. Busy, Happy and Healthy.

Used to think Amish were pretty weird when I was a kid, now I think they've got it absolutely spot on.

The older I get the more I wanna live like this, without all the bulls hit of modern society

I live in rural southwestern Pennsylvania and there are a lot of Amish here. Such very nice and humble people. Notice how well behaved and happy their children are.

Life for farmers all over the world is never easy. Bad weather and destructive insects are always a threat. I'm surrounded by Amish here in northwestern Pennsylvania and what has always impressed me most is their work ethic, family values, respect for tradition, and self discipline. Their lives appear bucolic but under the surface it's hard work that makes their society appear serene. Although they keep to themselves, they are the first to help non Amish neighbors in need. They live their Christian faith. Like most of our ancestors Sunday is the one day of the week they do only basic chores after their church services are over. It is a day to visit relatives and socialize with their neighbors.

According to Bloomberg, these folks shouldn't exists. "It takes no brains to farm." I'd rather have the Amish as neighbors, thank you kindly.

How can anyone dislike the Amish? Such wonderful people, raised happy and unafraid of hard work. So very humble and kind.

The more I watch the Amish the more thankful and grateful I am for the important contributions they have given us here. They appear so authentically happy and healthy! Thank you so very much And God bless y'all 🙏

They sound more attentive and engaged in conversation than most of us tech savvy people. They sound more human than so called modern ones.

I went to visit an Amish farm this past summer and I’ve never met more kind and welcoming people. They work for everything they have and they keep to themselves. Very respectable group of people!

I have tears in my eyes for no bloody reason. I guess deep down this is a type of life I wanna live. Simple and pure. Away from all the noise and pollution of the city.

I can't help but fall in love with the serenity of their lives.

Ironic thing is they’re more informed about geography and culture than most normal Americans

You will not find a warmer welcome than that from an Amish home. They are truly wonderful people.
